To protect the ds at home its good, but its for strage only from scratched dust etc, but its thin foam material doesnt protect it if dropped overall its good

Casual Case for 3DS
It's not hard case, first of all.
Casual carry purposed case for 3DS.
If you carry your 3DS in your bag, it's OK to buy.
Solo carry is not recommended since it's not strong
enough to resist any shock such as dropping.

For home storage, but not moving
If you just want to have a cover to protect your 3DS against dust and stripes, this product is not a bad choice after all.
But if you plan to use it for protecting the console during moving (in your bag by exemple), forget it.
First, the case is not exactly sized for the console. Your 3DS will be floating in it constantly. Except if you plug the espaces with cloth or something.
Second, the materials are quite cheap. The case is made with a very tiny sort of cloth or foam wich will NOT protect anything from impacts. And the closing slides are made with plastic, making the cover looking as cheap as the protection is.
If you just want to have a cover to protect your 3DS against dust and stripes, this product is not a bad choice after all.
