The AKB girls are glamorous, they are cute, and they are welcoming you into their midst. AKB 48 is recruiting new girls, so hand in the applications and go to the auditions. Life is one big show for you. Schedule your lessons, learn to dance, sing, do variety shows and coordinate with the rest of the girls.
Every lesson is a different mini game. And you will be part of the events, such as the centre girl polls and the rock, paper scissors competitions. But most importantly, you will be among the Mii versions of the AKB girls. Super deformed, these Mii versions carry all the salient features of the existing girls.

Simple to a fault
First off, at less than 20 US dollars, this game is fairly entertaining for the price. It is a very simple idol/rhythm game, but it's so simplistic it verges on being boring at times. You can make your own idol, and then you select what you want to do each week during your career. Many weeks have special events, and this is generally where the rhythm portion comes. Unfortunately, after playing many rhythm games, this one feels flat. The notes lack any real feedback or significant timing, if it weren't for the fact that the music is good, the game wouldn't be worth playing. It's a decent distraction if you have a JP 3DS, but even hardcore AKB48 fans will likely be a bit disappointed.

If u are a akb fan, pick this up right now.
Ok, i'm a long time akb48 fan and when this game was announced, i was not so sure if i would pick this one up despite the fact that akb-based games were generally pointless(48/1, 149/1). The two reason i finally picked this one up are: I'm a hardcore akb fan, and it's extremely cheap right now. The game play is a very simple SLG and some rhythm elements. Overall, it's a ok game, but if you are a akb fan, definitely pick this game up right now!!!
