description
In Aqua Plus's dating sims, these ladies are competing for your affection, but in the fighting game Aqua Pazza, they exchange punches and kicks to see who is the ultimate warrior. Girls and guys in To Heart, Tears and Tiara and Utawareru Mono have been fighting in the arcade, now they are moving on to the PlayStation3.
This home console version contains everything in the Arcade version and more. Besides more characters, the game comes with a new story mode, network mode and a gallery mode. Existing modes such as the training mode comes back with a grade-up, so novice fighters can learn to execute killing moves more efficiently.

Great Game with a Flaw
Since the announcement of Aquapazza for arcades in Japan, I've been following this game some great amount due to my love for Aquaplus & Examu games. This game will bring back some memories for those whom played the doujin game by French-Bread titled "The Queen of Heart" which was a fan-made fighting game using only female characters from the Aquaplus titles To Heart & Comic Party.
This those of us whom played those games, this is considered the official Queen of Heart game since it's officially by Aquaplus with the help of Examu....the only kicker is that there are 3 male characters in this game. Anyway, the game plays a bit like the doujin game "Vanguard Princess" with it's 2 vs 2 gameplay style where you control one character and your partner sits in the back only to come out for 1 attack when you have the meter & the addition of air blocking. Other than that, none of the staple mechanics found in anime-themed games like air dashes (with the exception of 1 character) are found. There aren't any over the top combos and usually stop at about 20 or so hits but with great zoning, poking, mixups, & rushdown tatics, this game has characters that will fit your playstyle needs.
The game supports the other staples of anime-themed fighting games such as a story mode, gallery, training, & online play.
This is where things start to become a problem. The major flaw with this game is that the online netcoding for this game is bad.....I mean really bad for now. It's been noted on sites like Homingcancel.com & Shoryuken.com that even the Japanese community are complaining about the network issues of this game this was the major cause for it's 3 delays. There are no word if Examu/Aquaplus are doing anything on this as no official announcement has been made but this is a serious issue for those looking to play online alot with this game.
This wasn't an issue in Examu's last game release "Arcana Heart 3" due to the fact that they had Arc System Works to help them with the game and thus they brought the netcoding from the BlazBlue series into Arcana Heart 3 but since ASW was not called for Aquapazza's release, the netcoding is nowhere to be found.
Don't let this discourage you from buying this game though. Aside from that one huge flaw, the remaining of the game is top notch and honestly, I don't think it shouldn't be missed. It's a must buy for me but if you're concerned about the flaw, find someone who has it and play it at their house or so before you decide to buy it.
