description
The final installment in the Ar tonelico series. The story takes place in Sol Cluster, a kingdom ruled by an organization called Clustania and their ultimate goal is to enslave humans and rule the world. However, the two key Reyvateils (humanoids) they need to accomplish their goal meet Aoto and fight back against injustice.

Characters strip down for a weird magical reason, other characters shout at others because they want them to strip, characters get turned into cakes, thanks to the stripping magic... ya, its that weird.
The battle system is nothing that hasn't been seen in a million other RPGs, so I can't really comment much on that.

Ar Tonelico 3 closes with golden key the trilogy of the series, an excellent plot, with the best printers and a piece of news jogabilidade what remembers a little Tales of Graces F, obliged for the one who wants a good JRPG in this generation

Action-based JRPG
This JRPG uses an action-based combat system and not the usual turn-based one that you usually associate with the genre.
Story is pacing is a bit slow, and will get some getting used to.. For those who enjoy japanese vocals, this game supports them.

I just got this A few weeks ago and I'd have to say that It's actually pretty good especially if you've played Ar tonelico 1 and Ar Tonelico 2 before.. The 3D graphics are somewhat refreshing compared to the 2D Graphics of it's predecessors but the Battle system is somewhat hard to grasp especially at first to be honest I very much prefer Ar Tonelico 1 and Ar Tonelico 2 Battle systems.. Over-all I'd say it's not a Masterpiece but It's good especially the Heroines.. If you're a Die-hard Artonelico Fan like me You should get this! (=w=)b

Game isn't bad but it may freeze occasionally and the battle system had some framerate issues. While the OST is decent, the hymns are definitely one of best out of the series.
I would only recommend this to those who played the first two Ar tonelico.

AT series' Final Installment!
As the final game for the AT series, this game has an totally different battle system as compared to its predecessors. As AT fans would have know, unlike the first 2 games which are turn-based, AT3 has a real time battle system, something like Tales of games (though without many of the features).
One thing to note is the purge system, i.e. the more exposed the heroin is, the stronger the song magic.
As for myself, I personally prefer AT2, but this game itself is still a good game, and this box set comes with a nice artbook and a soundtrack disc, which is definitely a value for money purchase.

For the price of an ordinary game you get plenty of freebies. That's very good value for money. However the game itself isn't too impressive, in fact it has taken a step backward from previous Ar Tonelico. However the eye candies really do their job very well (I'm a guy after all).

Just got this game and looks really promising! For the few minutes of first time gameplay i realized a few things. For a 3D mount battle system PS3, The graphics wasn't satisfying enough when compared to games like hyperdimension neptunia. The conversation was still in 2D and the character drawing used to explore the game didn't live up to the CG. Nevertheless, it's entertaining to see characters from ATT1 & 2 appear once more. I wish ruka, chroach and kuroshe could've showed up along with those from the 1st series. The 3D battle system was fun to play as well although I realized a slow reaction in turning directions to avoid attack. Can't give a 5 star right away since only a few minutes have passed, still this looks promising!

The best of the series
This game is incredible if you played the previous games youl love this one the grafix and storyline are awesome one of the best voiced games ,anime scenes mack you fall in love with the characters this is my favorite game of all when you play it youll think so to.

Excellent Game
Ar tonelico is an interesting JRPG series that started on the PS2. It has a lot to offer to fans of JRPGs, mainly an interesting storyline and a truly unique soundtrack. The gameplay is also very intriguing by giving you item crafting and the experience to level up your partner. It's a series that catches the attention of people who like niche RPGs.
Ar tonelico 3 is basically the same in it's core mechanics as the previous titles in the series, except now it went 3D graphics instead of the 2D approach. The core mechanics though the same, have had some changes that some fans could find as step backwards towards the first title. Crafting was simplified and character unique items were left out.
The game's storyline is as interesting as the previous titles, having lots of funny moments. These moments are well executed by the Voice actors. The story is not only well acted, but also well presented with wonderful cut-scenes.
Graphically it is definitely the best looking Ar tonelico game, having cell-shaded characters and good design as well. Because of the jump in graphics most of the changes were made in the fighting system. In this sequel we have a combat system similar to the Tales series made by Namco Bandai. It still retains the same formula as in the prequels though.
The music is the best part of Ar tonelico. Songs are the game's theme. Most of them were made with the in-game universe's language. These are sung by the partners in both the main story and in battles. The songs themselves were done by Shikata Akiko, KOKIA, , Ueno Yoko, Shimotsuki Haruka, Katakiri Rekka, and Mitose Noriko.

Great 3rd , but not the Best
The art and presentation are oozing with cuteness and style, and the music , well as expected from an Ar Tonelico game, is simply amazing
As many have mention , I'd give this a perfect score if it wasn't for the dumbed down Crafting and lack of battle skills

A great conclusion, but flawed
Any Ar Tonelico or Gust fan will love this conclusion (?) to the epic trilogy, with a great story that will finally reveal the problems of Ar Ciel itself. The characters are lovable and there are 8 possible endings to the game, and the cosmospheres actually play a good part in the actual game story instead of being random problems. But there are a couple of glaring issues that any true fan of the series/Gust will find, and for that reason I cannot give it a perfect score.
The biggest problem for me was the massive dumb-down of the crafting system. Gone are the days of getting unique items depending on who helps craft it, now our hero Aoto does all the work. You still get a decent conversation out of it depending on who made it, though. The battles feel very inspired by Tales series, but you only get FOUR combat abilities per character, and your revatails only really have ONE song they constantly sing. It is very simple, and gets old fast. Finally, the dungeons are all far too simple and easy, no labyrinths to navigate here, and hard mode is not very hard to clear at all.
Any fan of the series should buy this game, you will enjoy it for its story, lovable characters, and cosmospheres, but it feels like it was an attempt to turn the game more mainstream and severely dumbed down from past titles. Hopefully the upcoming DLC will add some more good contents.

Just awesome
Like others have said, if you are a fan of AT 1 and 2, you absolutely have to get AT3. Great music, characters, everything we have come to expect from the Ar Tonelico series.
My only complaint is the fact that the game isn't 100% voiced, but that's probably asking for too much with how much dialogue there is. (No voices for crafting, heroine talk matters, party talk matters, and some of the story. Yet there is still loads of voiced content.)

Best Endings
This is by far the best(and has a challenging hard mode for once) of all the series. It also wraps the series up really nicely.Great characters,graphics and of The MUSIC. A must have for all fans of this series!

Maximun Goodness
So far this is the best Ar Tonelico game I have played,
even though I will miss the 2D sprites from AT1, this one is indeed a must have, if you love pantsu, of course

Quite a big change for Ar tonelico from 2.5D to 3D. However, the story is a rather so so I guess. I feel that Banpresto should just stick with their mecha games which they are good with

Well done by Gust again!
Although the game switch from 2D turn-based RPG style to 3D real life action style, but the story, interface, art style, music and etc still remain as marvelous as the previous title. Definitely worth a try for those who are new to AT series, looking forward to next AT series!

Just play a few hours of it, nothing you haven't seen in the 1st snd 2nd, just 3d batlle, think of it as Tales game with no combo buttong mashing (well Gust did partner with Namco Bandai on this), the skit is alright and is what is keepin me playing the game, if you are Gust frd buy it, if not stay away =/

A brilliant and unconventional RPG
Ar Tonelico 3 is a very unique game like its two predecessors. While it retains the same Dive system and the first game's synthesis, the gameplay has once again changed. It resembles a very simplified version of the Tales of series' battle system, with three vanguards and one reyvateil fighting in real-time. Furthermore, there is a rhythm element present for the purge system, which is one of the reasons why you'll want to play this game with no one around to avoid misunderstandings.
AT3, as with the previous games, starts off with its own isolated story while continuing the overarching plot. Graphics are great for a RPG and the sound, as usual, is among the best. As with the previous games, AT3 shines in the sound department with its Hymmnos songs. Overall, it is a fun and enjoyable game though you will want to play it in private.
