This game doesn't need too much to be descrived.
I think "Frostbite 2" says it all.Beautiful graphics, gameplay well built and it fells like a real situation of war.it's incredible.

EVEN BETTER ON PC
As a xbox 360 user, i thought i will give a try for battlefield 3 PC version, All i have to say is it is unbelievable feels and looks much better. IF you own a high end computer THIS IS A MUST BUY, 64 players !!!! dont even think just BUY this is a 10/10 game. thanks for DICE & EA for making this and play-asia for making it available for us..

Shooting Galore
Really enjoy this game so far. Its a squad based game that does not concentrate to direct them. You have to concentrate on the task in hand. Many varieties of gameplay which is welcome and the action did not felt repetitive. A must buy for serious FPS.

Game was great, but Origin sucks
Spent a nice weekend playing the single player campaign of Battlefield 3, which was fun. However, my computer was never able to connect to Origin to update the game or play online. As the main draw of the game is the online aspect, this was a huge disappointment. There is no other alternative to download the patch other than Origin and the EA website support was not able to offer answers to this problem.

Online problem again
I bought this BF3 Asia region version but I can't redeem the online code for multiplayer and co-op mode even in Malaysia. This is very disappointing.
Aside from that, I've played the single player campaign and it looks and plays great.

Battlefield 3 is a great game if you're into team work. Thus, not everyone will cooperate with you. But if you really wanna enjoy this game then I would recommend playing Battlefield 3 with some of your friends!

Like FPS? Play BF3
I've played COD and Halo but I think BF3 is one of the best FPS game I've played. The graphics are insane at high quality. Absolutely love it and recommend you get it. :)

Probably the most realistic shooter game out there.

Due to lack of servers and new pack available, very difficult to get online. Sure the game is amazing, but just dont expect to be able to pick up and play anytime you choose. In 2 weeks I played 3 times.

BEST online FPS game I have ever played!!!
The single player IS generic. that being said, it is one of the most intense single player experience I have EVER played. The sound design is amazing in this game. Some of the best game design I have ever heard. I hope you play with HD surround sound because you might as well be playing this game on a black and white TV. You can hear bullets wiz by your head, and actually tell how close they came from the sound. I can pick out a sniper just from the sound of his fire. The online is the most imerisve gaming experience of my life. I will not compare this game to MW3 because their is no point. If want to MW3 or think it is a better game than the marketing machine and peer pressure has already brain washed you and their is no changing your mind. If you want know if this is a good battlefield game, then I am here to tell you it is an AMAZING battlefield game. As of this review I have put 147 hours into the game the online grows and changes as your learn the levels, the weapons, and attachments, and the vehicles. I may have played some maps 50 times or more already but my strategy grows and changes. and that is something this game takes, skill, brains, and strategy. They have death match mode, and people including my self just run around and shoot shoot shoot. but the other 4 modes all require a ton of strategy of team work. One thing I will say is battlefield players are great gamers and not selfish. I have worked on some really great squads where we all work together very well. Just random gamers from all over the world. Only 2 or 3 times have I played with selfish childish gamers. How many popular online FPS games can you say that about???

There is a solution to every problem and a million ways to play. If some one is camping, you send in a UAV to find him and/or snipe him. tanks bogging you down, lay down mines or C4.

A great game, a nice new flavor for the shooter genre that (in my opinion) has been getting watered down with more of the same. (Ex.// CoD, Halo, etc) I'm always taken care of by Play Asia and don't buy my games anywhere else. KEEP UP BEING THE BEST!

This game is very hard, you could die without knowing where ur enemy is shooting from. And die so fast. Its Hard to spot which one is friend or enemy.
But if you play long enough and get used to it, then it would be a very enjoyable game.
Graphic is Nice, control respond is good. But it take a little bit long to load the game.

after seeing all those pc version trailers, the ps3 graphic is really a let down. the campaign story is rather doll, with terrible voice acting. also the ps3 doesn't support as much player online as the pc ver.

BF3 IS TEH AWSUM!
I'm so glad I pre ordered the LE copy of this game because it's out of print it seems. I've finished the single player campaign and was somewhat satisfied. Now I'm going through the co-op mode with friends and also the multiplayer mode is pretty hard core. Literally.

Great game!
Love this game and the constant great connection makes me love it even more. Dedicated servers just makes the gameplay super smooth and the graphics are mind blowing. It's probably the best game of 2011 for sure. You will not be disappointed.

Let me start by saying that if you are looking for value, BF3 delivers in spades. That being said, the campaign is fairly mediocre (I thought BFBC2 was better). The multiplayer offers more vehicles and a steady IV drip of unlocks to keep you addicted and coming back. If you're wondering if you should get MW3 or BF3, get BF3. BF3 also offers team deathmatch, spec ops, etc. but I feel the multiplayer gameplay has more variety with the classes, game modes, and devices.

Not for the In-Experienced

Awful Interface - Terrific Gameplay
Not a big fan of the new weapons data system, game menus are kind of awful, would be great if you could tweak everything between games. but multiplayer is as addictive as ever.
Wish the interface was better though, its actually worse than Bad Company 2 which wasnt realy perfect in its own right.

A good game but is it really a great game.
I'm a massive fan of the COD franchise and it takes a pretty good game to knock that out of pole position. So does BF3 do the job of being a giant killer? I don't think it does, as it's not really competing for that job. I was surprised how different the two games are really ( have both MW3 and BF3). I'm also reviewing only the Multiplayer game for PS3.
BF3 has a scale that is epic on one hand giving you loads of world to explore and use. Which is nice as it makes it harder for people to work out maps and begin to camp. And yet sometimes they seem too lonely and a little frustrating with the sheer scale of them. The simple fact that you can find yourself somewhere where there is nothing happening can get boring.
After playing Rage, BF3 feels like a last gen game graphically speaking but due to the scale it seems to work ok. BF3 kind of fools you into believing it's real. I think that this due to the combination of sound and graphics on a huge scale. The ambient sounds and also the battle sounds are so fantastic and I recommend playing with a headset for sure.
Gameplay is good when there are loads of people playing and the different modes keeps it interesting.
My only gripe and the reason I won't score it a 5 star game, is a sloppy one. It's an EA game trait as their sport games suffer I feel from the same problem. The menu systems suck.
The lack of being able to dive in and out like in COD really hurts this game I feel. Too complicated and not well enough tested. Slows you down in the part of the game you don't want to be slowed down in, the boring menu system.
Oh and last little gripe is where is my DLC you promised in the Limited edition. Don't say it's "coming" that is false advertising give it to me when I pay for it. made me feel like I had been ripped off a bit. So in conclusion BF3 is a great game that could be better I think in those last two respects COD still is still the champ.

I have played 10 FPS games on the PS3, so trust me when I say I’m a hardcore FPS player. This game has everything you could want. First and most importantly there are DEDICATED servers, even on consoles, which give you a lag-free connection every time. I can not stress how infinitely important this is to having an enjoyable online experience. That alone makes it a must buy. On top of that, there are various game modes each with their own flavor. You can play in squad-dependent modes (Rush, Conquest, Squad games) and feel how rewarding it is to work together with teammates. Or you can play nearly solo with some of the fastest action I’ve ever seen (TDM). There are tons of gadgets, upgrades, and unlocks for not only guns but also vehicles. Each of the 4 classes are unique and very, very fun to play. Vehicles are extremely powerful, but they take alot of skill to handle. You can also choose infantry only mode if you wish to leave out machines. This game is top notch. I’m very happy to have this game, and will be playing for a long, long time.

CoD convert!
I used to be a Call of Duty fan, however, after the way the series has been going since Black Ops came out, I decided to try out Battlefield 3 for a change. WOW! This game really outdoes the Call of Duty franchise in every way. In my opinion, it takes all the elements of Call of Duty 4, and where Call of Duty has simply rehashed the same formula with new maps and a few new weapons, Battlefield seems to have really improved every aspect and made a seriously great warfare simulator. Won't be buying Call of Duty again, at least till Activision get their heads right and actually produce something truly innovative and worth getting. After the broken train wreck that was Black flOps, I really don't see that happening anytime soon.

it's a good games but...
single player missions are not bad, but not great.
online coop missions arent that much fun... there's only 7 missions or so.
multiplayer is... fun. :) but you have to unlock a lot of weapons and add-ons on the weapons. that just takes way~~~ too much time. so i'm enjoying what i can with what i have.

Great Game, but psn dlc code doesn't work.
Great game but be warned about dlc redemption codes included in Asia region editions as you will need to muck around a little to get this happening. It's not straight out of the box and download as there are regional psn networks that you belong to that won't recognize the code unfortunately Great game though :))

Singleplayer goes to CODMW3, however the multiplayer does to Battlefield3.
Make sure you have a lot of HD space, cause you'll need it for the HD install!

Does anyone really buy these types of games for a solid story? I don't. If you do, the story is weak and short. This doesn't even touch the amazing online play. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Awesome game allround
I couldn't believe it, i finally got it! BF3... it really lives up to its name, Campaign is brilliant, Co-op is fun and Multiplayer is absolutely outstanding, ill enjoy this game for years to come. Worth buying for sure.
