This is the second version of Sony PS3 Bluetooth headset.

Decent Headset
This official PS3 headset is pretty decent. I mainly use it for Killzone 3 and it works but theres a few problems. Mainly I find the mic to be way to sensitive as it picks up many sounds other than my voice. I also find the headset to be kinda of quiet when people are talking to me. The headset is quite comfortable to wear and is overall better than the older model.

Excellent design and high quality sound transmission, a good combination of price and quality.
Strains only one point: In standby mode, at regular intervals (approximately every 30 seconds) in the headset can hear some quiet background noise, it takes about 10 seconds, then again 30 seconds of silence.
Those who have already purchased this headset, please check it on your devices, and write if there are similar symptoms to you?

- good voice / audio quality for gaming

- expected it to be in-ear, but it is dependent on the ear hook which seems fragile
- not good for cell phone calls, picks up too much background noise
- no active noise cancellation outside of gaming

Great Product
It's a must buy for people who doesn't own a Headset yet, it's perfect to hear, to talk, and it can be used for hours without needing to charge. Only problem (that cost one star) is that it doesn't fit too well in my ear, think it's still too small :p

this headset may not have the best comfort. but the sound quality is extremely good. believe this should be the only headset that supports the HQ wideband sound since its an official one. compare it to my previous LG headset on my ps3 i can hear my friends better and so are my friends able to hear me clearer. very worth the money. comes with dual microphone for better voice quality, in most cases u need to pay almost double the price for something with similar configuration out there. good buy

Although I haven't get a PS3 yet (period), I purchase this headset for my cellphone use. It claims that you can use it for desktop microphone, how true was that I haven't try but I'd google it and users said you need to have a Bluetooth adapter on your PC/Laptop in order to use it.

The headset is comfortable, sits well on the ear and doesn't fall off. Even after hours of wearing my ear didn't hurt, but if at some point yours will, you can very easily switch the ear clip to the other side and wear the headset on your other ear - a thing a lot of headsets don't let you do.
Incoming audio quality is excellent. You hear very well and clear. Volume is adjustable of course.
There are two mics and that allows you to use the headset as a desktop mic while recharging so you don't have to worry about the it dying on you while you're in a middle of game. Awesome.
The big mute button is very useful too, another thing a lot of headsets don't strangely have.
HQ mode enhances the audio quality going out and adds a noise cancellation, so your voice comes through even clearer.
It's really easy to tell online who use this headset and who uses another. A quality product(as expected from sony). A bit pricey but absolutely worth the extra bucks.
