Good item, it servers its servers its purpose. It protect against scratches, dirt, daily wear and tear, etc. Some times it is a little bit complicate to adjust the volume, but nothing that can not get used to.

Not a great fit.
I bought it in white for my pearl pink 3DS. The only problem I have is the fit. The bottom cover fits my 3DS perfectly, but the top cover doesn't quite fit too perfectly. It still clamps on but it looks to be a little too small because it bends very slightly upward near the edges. It's very minor but I still worry that the top cover doesn't squeeze my 3DS too tightly.
Overall, it's a perfect cover for scratches, dirt, daily wear and tear, etc. If you're looking for a accident, drop/shock-resistant cover, this is not it. It doesn't prevent against drop on the side where the hinge is located. That part is exposed. It adds slight thickness to 3DS, but not major thickness. Maybe a little pricer w/ shipping etc. for a plastic cover.

Average Protection
I puchased this for my 3DS flame-red body protection.
Protection function is averge, but color-tone is a bit
different from it's original body color to match with.
