I think that this is a one of the greatest game for xbox360. I can feeling very exciting and funny. This game has a some kind of fallout3 style component and very exciting action like other FPS games.

I never really liked FPS games but this really makes the game fun...with the graphics looking like comics and 4 characters to choose and a lot of guns and missions this game is really awesome,if you never played a FPS before you should play this one :)

With very simple tasks as gather/kill X stuff and/or go from A to B, the game succeed in giving you a lot of satisfaction and achievement through item/weapon collecting.
If only Fallout could have been like that...

Feels a little bit repetitive
The level designs are similar across the game, and the game has similar missions which you can get bored of. The only thing that makes you play through the game is the gameplay, which is pretty sweet. Gameplay consists of first-person shooter elements and RPG elements mixed together.

Must-get for action role-playing game fans
This game boasts solid first-person shooting mechanics and plenty of ways to play. And you will want to start the game over again to fight stronger foes to reach the level cap. Graphically, the great enemy animations, detailed environments and some particularly impressive boss encounters will awe you repeatedly amongst many other polished aspects of the game.

Borderlands?.........closer to borderline
Graphics are great, story is good, but after play for the first time, it really doesn't bring a lot to the table in terms of wow factor on any front. Missions seem a little drawn out, controls are good, game has a few bugs, but overall a solid purchase at PlayAsia pricing. Not for everyone.

A great and fun game, though it brings nothing new to the table nor improves on any of it, it is worth a rent and maybe even a buy. Don't let this game slip by you, but don't enter it expecting a Uncharted 2, Bioshock or God of War.

Borderlands offers an outstanding adventure at just the perfect length. The fun visuals and humorous dialogue makes it even more enjoyable. There is the option to continue after beating the game with tougher enemies and stronger weapons plus four DLC worlds for every more fun. Definitely check this out especially if you're looking for a great co-op game that is moderately challenging.

I love anything with RPG elements in. where you level up and upgrade weapons and so forth. This is why it is the perfect game for me, its a FPS with RPG elements to it. In a way this reminded me of Fallout 3, which is also a good game. So if you like that game you'd love this!

Slick Game & Graphics
Borderlands has got slick cartoonish graphics & gameplay. The controls are tight & accurate with no slowdown present. Its an easy game to pick up & once started, its hard to put the controllers down even if your mom starts yelling at you to help her with the laundry :)

This game rocks! The gameplay is completely addicting and if you've played other 1st person shooters on the 360, you'll feel right at home with this game. A bit more variation in quests would've been better, but I've really got no complaints. If you like 1st person shooters and wide-open gameplay, coupled with the desire to get new loot, then this game's for you!

GOOD RPG, FPS
It is fused with the balance that fun as an RPG training refreshment as FPS and Cara freely has good, and there is the middle toxicity as it stop if I begin it once and loses time. The tempo of the game is good because there is much high-speed movement means.

The comparison with FALLOUT 3 is inevitable: the apocalyptic background, even the expansions (that are great just as f3), even though, 2k make a very decent game here. The 4 player co-op is amazing.

Slightly flawed around the edges - but some great fun!
Borderlands is an ingenious blend of Diablo and First Person games done in a fantastically stylized manner with great personality. The gameplay is really fun, especially more in split screen and there's an online mode.
It's not perfect however - it lacks a certain level of polish in things like animations, draw distances etc. but it's nothing that hinders the experience. Great game.

Excellent take on an RPG
If you like FPS RPG's like fallout 3, this game will keep you entertained for 20-50 hours single player if you want it to. The mechanics are fun and the game play is compelling.
Co-op multi player works very well and really adds to the experience.
One of the best value games available for the 360.

A very good game to play with someone in split screen or in a party online.Its a shooter with some elements of RPG.Do not expect too much with the skills of the characters,most of the skills are pasive.

Borderlands is my favourite shooter of 2009. It's not your standard FPS, instead it is a new genre, an RPS (Role-Playing Shooter). As 1 of 4 mercenaries (each with unique abilities and skills to acquire), you are thrown into the world of Pandora, a desolate planet inhabited by wild beasts, crazy scientists, and a blind guy with a double barrel shotgun. Game-play is simple, shoot anything that moves, and loot anyone and anything. The game implements a system that randomly generates weapons that vary in rarity. Whilst there is a story to complete, more fun is had leveling your character and collecting rare weapons. Where the game really shines is co-op. You and 3 friends can team up online, no matter what point in the game your up to, and wreak havoc as a team. The game has insane amounts of replay value, buy it now...and a few extra copies for your friends!

Very addictive game
Although the world of Pandora is pretty quiet, but with wide array of weapons to try and waves enemies in quests, Borderlands will keep you wandering around the planet. Hopefully more DLC coming for this game, or even better, Borderlands 2. Can't wait for them.

Highly entertaining game has over 1000 weapons, you can choose between the four heroes and develop it as you wish, he mentions the game FALLOUT, the only thing I did not like this game is online play which is not enough action and a bit boring.

If you want a combination of RPG style with first-class shooting, then Borderlands meets the target. With an environment based on Mad Max, you will adventure into finding "The Vault". A place or something, filled with valuables things.Get you best character and fight your way through levels, "Badass" enemys and ofcourse, the Multiplayer Co-OP.

The game is great, the graphic is fine, but I was expecting to have a fellow NPC on some quest for boss battle and to keep the environment merrier. Pandora is too quiet of friendlies. The boss battle can be frustrating, if you dealing them alone. Luckily, there're split screen, LAN, and online options to keep you accompany. The RPG element is not freely to custom. You only have experience points to level up and skill points to extend your skill tree. Nonetheless, It's a must have FPS and RPG lover. I think I'll go for the DLC. Hopefully, next Borderlands will have more crowd or at least match its sibling, the Bioshoch series

The only downside is the slight imbalance of the difficulty, at the very start of the game things are a tad bit tough until you get your use to the controls and begin to acquire some adequate equipment. Soon after the rest of the game loses a great deal of challenge. From what I've heard of the DLC however is that Gearbox took a step in the right direction with offering players a great deal more challenge in their fights and boss battles.

I just bought this game to play in split-screen with my friend, and i believe it was a right choice.

Much better than expected
The game is highly addictive and there are tons of weapons to collect. You'll be spending hours and hours just trying to collect the millions of weapons available. Gameplay is smooth though the graphics are abit on the unique side and not those contemporary graphics that you see

A new breed of RPS. Borderlands has a great story where you are hunting for the near mythical vault. It involves awesome weapons (with elemental damage), great class mods, many humourous moments and what really sets it apart from other wasteland shooters is the graphics and art direction. Everything is done in a cell shaded style, but it's nowhere near as cartoony as "The Wind Waker" was.
A highly detailed world with many missions and sidequests will keep you occupied for hours. You can also replay it once you've finished it and keep your level and skills.
Playing online is also really fun. The enemies are made tougher depending on the level of the players and how many there are.

In the Last time i was a little bored of all the bad Shooter like MW2.

Well,after playing for hours with all charachters, I can say that the game is the best RPG-FPS that I have ever seen.
Many sidequests and nice story. The best thing for this game is the option:multiplayer.
You can join or invite friends whenever you want,share your gears and all, well a very complete game.
Only negative point I can think about is the downloading time. Its a bit long when you enter a transition point on the map, but if you are a little patient and like both FPS-RPG,this game is definetely for you.

Never before have I been so compelled to search for loot as I have with Borderlands. It has an addictive quality that has seen me invest countless hours completing at times tedious side quests and scouring the wastelands looking for bigger, better weapons. The sound and visuals are fantastic but honestly play second fiddle to the game play which is superb. This is easily the front runner for my game of the year. Buy it!

the rpg/shooter hybrid works well - it's very satisfying to see the damage ping off in digits as you hit stuff!

when i taked my first look on borderlands, i didnt know what to expect. It kind of looked like re-make of fallout 3+shellshading. Well..i was wrong...i was wrong as human can ever be.

Most stylish game of the year
The graphics are some of the best I've ever seen in terms of art style, not since Okami have I been attracted by its presentation & the FPS + RPG elements is fantastic. The only fault is jokes that don't work at all and it can feel quite repetitive after, other than that its certainly worth the money

WoW style quest and character allocation points with fallout style enviorment plus a dash of humor = one great game that is Borderlands. It is always satisfying to keep finding that urber loot (in a way of guns) and completing every quest that this game has to offer.

I played on 360. This game is good for solo and coop. Then coop is more good. When I playing we can talk and too much laughing :) And easy to unlock achivement score. I like unique characters. Everyone can enjoy it, i think.

This game is great, it satisfies my need for fps and rpg statistics. It's so addictive that you will find yourself in the middle of the night saying "ok, one more mission... ok, just another little mission and I'll stop... done... going to sleep... after one more mission". Play it!

if your looking for a diablo FPS this is the game to turn to, it plays like diablo alot in the sense of hoards of enemies coming after you, finindg mnay idff kinds of weapons all with different effects like shock or fire damage. you are also able to control a buggy like car that can shoot guns or rockets.

Wanted this game for a long time and when I got it, I was not disappointed at all. A RPG-FPS that provides hours of CO-OP fun. Enjoyable with three others or alone. A must buy. Oh, and did I say that there is soooo many guns?

FPS + Diablo = WIN !
A hybrid of a shooter and a looter is in itself a game to behold, and Borderlands globally lives up to the expectations.
The story is as thin as air, the quest are standard at best, and boss battles are disappointing (especially the final one !), but that is more than made up for by the sheer awesomeness of the "bazillion" guns and the bliss that is co-op play.
Should be an instant buy if you have friends to play it with online. Single player feels a bit lonely at times and playing with random people is not nearly as fulfilling - but I did go through it once by myself and still enjoyed it thoroughly.

Decent game
I didn't go in the game with high expectations, and the game matched accordingly. Kind of a let down since the world of Pandora has so much potential, it looks unique, but there's absolutely nothing to do there. The unique visual style and high emphasis on guns sets it apart from most modern WRPG's. The game is decent, if not great.

This game is great. It's like taking Fallout and mixing it with Diablo and then throwing it in a blender with some random arcade shooter. While it may be fun by yourself, playing with others is where it's REALLY at!
My only real problem with this game is it sometimes slows down when there's too many things on the screen at the same time or when too many things are loading. Aside from that, if you're looking for a great game to tide you over THIS IS IT!
