Still addictive? naaaaa
This entry of EDF it's the worst by far.
Still t has the soul of addictiveness and awesomeness EDF 1 and 2 have, but still while they improved just a tiny little on the graphics they hacked down the game severely.
It has a dozen of weapons per class and still half of those are just cloned with better stats, there's no compromise on those awesome over-the-top weapons from before.
That, and the stages.... from 70+scenarios plus extras in EDF we got less than 20, limited to "stage areas" f the same map... that's it, 4 maps and 20 stages..... lame.
Want to have a lot of fun? co-op?EDF 1 and 2,
Can't find them? well there's always this one.

bugs, Bugs, BUGS!!!
ok, this game is filled with bugs. Literally! if you are looking for a game with fantastic storyline and twisting plot, this is not the game for you. if you are looking for a game with great graphics, this is not the game for you.
BUT if you are looking for a game that is addictive with mindless shooting against giant bugs, then THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU! couch split screen coop is so incredibly fun, imagine going up against ridiculous numbers of bugs and insects with guns and bigger and better guns with a friend.
i would give this game a 5 star if not for its occasional "bugs" like framerate drop and some other weird finicky issues. But once you start shooting those insects, these things seems to fly out of the window.

A one of a kind throw back game.
EFD:Insect Armageddon is a fantastic co-op game that puts aside big graphics, good music and tight controls. Instead it brings average visuals, bland music and sloppy camera angles to the table. Some how this works extremely well and turns out to be an addictive game. I've been coming back time and time again to kill bugs with my friends just because there aren't many games that let you do that any more. Worth checking out if you want a quick to play game that doesn't require much effort mentally.
