The top selling Japanese rocker Gackt releases his 38th single in collaboration with his vocaloid Gakupoid. His image is that of a singing samurai, his deep digital voice has inspired a lot of lyricists and musicians.

A Gakupoid song contest is held on the Nico Nico network in 2009, and here are the results. Episode 0 is composed by Gakupoid fans and performed for them by Gackt.

Episode 0 is a powerful rock song that carries the samurai spirit. The swordsman do not wield their sword for blood thirst and ambition, but for peace. The coupling song Paranoid Doll is a light show of a song, full of up and downs and vocal pyrotechnics. The Japanese string instruments that plays at the beginning and the end add an exotic flavor to the rock beat.
