description
Inspired by shooters of the 80s, Eschantos is a speedy shoot'em up game. Take down that massive ship that showers bullets on you, the relentless action just doesn't stop. Make use of the special shield system to create an opening for you to attack. This brand new Shield System isn't just for defense, switch it on, barge your way to the boss and open fire.
Since it's a tribute to the classics, the graphics and the music are completely loyal to the era, but the gameplay and the breakneck speed pose a challenge to all the impatient and confident modern gamers.

A wonderful journey back in time
A lovingly crafted classic vertical shmup with a truly kick-ass soundtrack composed by Yosuke Yasui. Worth every penny and works like a charm on my PAL (UK) 360.

wasn't sure about this one...but glad I took a chance!
This game is like new school and old school had a baby. The visuals are remarkable, with a unique 50's scifi kinda style. The game controls rock but don't let the simple game mechanics fool ya...lots of tricks to rock that score. With this affordable version it can now easily be in the hands of the poor gamers like me.

Excellent
I always wondered what made Eschatos so popular, so I finally bought the Wonder Price version (region free). Boy was I missing out, it feels entirely unique while retaining the classic gameplay we like for a shmup. It has an excellent soundtrack, excellent gameplay and has a bunch of small unlockables. Definitely worth it!

great game
I've been playing this alot since i got it and it is a wonderful game. Tough as nails no matter how many times you die you will want to keep trying to improve your score, less deaths on a run higher chains something a will always keep you coming back and the price is perfect too can't beat the greatest hits releases

Great game, great soundtrack... It's awesome to see die hard shooting fans putting this much love into their games, I'm honoured to support them.
And Judgement Silversword is just too cool for words! I'm saving that one for a four-day weekend!

A Must-Have for Fans of Space Shooters
Eschatos is a fast-paced and genuinely fun space shooter that has a classic style with controls that are friendly to both novice and skilled players. Special mention is deserved for the soundtrack which on it's on
almost warrants it as a reason to buy the game as it
combines masterfully well such an energetic game.
The game comes packaged with Judgment Silversword and Cardinal Sins which are reasonably good but are very welcome additions to what is already an excellent game. This game is definitely a good choice for players
who likes a quick and fun game that never grows tiring.
The addition of an experience system via points that
rewards the player with special options and continues is
gimmicky but makes the game even more fun.

This wonder price version is region free and can be played on any xbox. The game is a old school shooter that is amazing and the soundtrack is good as well!!!

3 Amazing Games in One Package
Eschatos on it's own would've received a 4 rating. It is an outstanding game. Not the best shmup out there, but still amazing. The inclusion of Judgment Silversword and Cardinal Sins, and the fact that it's available in a cheaper Wonder Price package pushed it to the full 5 star rating.

Eschatos Offers 3 Polished Shooters for One Low Price
Eschatos is a phenomenal old school shooter with some very cool techniques when it comes to playing around with 3D camera angles. The actions is fantastic, the soundtrack memorable and classic, and the package full of content since there's two Wonderswan shooters included on the disc, both Judgment Silversword and Cardinal Sins. You can't go wrong with this. Buy it before it's too late. Excellent game. Region-free for importers.

And now with the new Wonder Price version out at less than half the price of the original release, there aren't that many excuses not to pick this up if you call yourself a shoot-'em-up nut!

A good pack
Eschatos is not a bad game. I like the mechanics, although the perspective sections feel a bit strange.
But it includes Judgement Silversword and Cardinal Sins.. and those are two very good games. Probably better than Eschatos. Absolutely great gameplay.
Overall the pack is a bit pricey, but if you are really into shmups you should check it.

I may be out on my own here but despite me still loving a hell of a lot of 'old school' shmups, I just don't like this. Also, way overpriced for what it is. These could have been put on XBLA for $10 a pop. Very cheap presentation too. I would give it 3 stars if it was cheaper.

I like a lot eschatos it feel oldschool and modern at the same time it s not a easy game but it s not mean it s boring ,its more fun this way :) you have a lots of mode and great challanges some features unlock more you play and it come with 2 other games : 'Judgement Silversword' and 'Cardinal Sins'. what I dislike : I die many many time but it s the same case for all shmup :)

It's a solid old school shmup, with good content and freebies : it's bundled with a soundtrack CD, and 2 Wonderswan shmups on the game's DVD.
So, where is the problem ? Answer : it looks like a doujin / XBLA game, and to be honest it doesn't worth this full priced tag... I'd prefer look for Akai Katana or Strania (on XBLA).
It's a solid old school shmup, with good content and freebies : it's bundled with a soundtrack CD, and 2 Wonderswan shmups on the game's DVD.

I fell in love with this game!
The included classics 'Judgement Silversword' and 'Cardinal Sins' are pretty incredible and are easily worth the game's cost on their own. 'Eschatos' is pretty interesting also, but in my opinion it's the icing on the cake.
