■ストーリー
前年度の桜花展、最年少で佳作を受賞した主人公・"小松原亮"は、美術特待生として撫子学園に入学した。
とある事情から、亮は入学と同時に、幼なじみで生まれた時から付き合いのある、"青桐ことの"の家に居候していた。
かといって姉弟同然に育ってきた二人にとっては大きな変化とはならず、"亮 "は天然でゆっくりした性格の"ことの"をフォローしながら、刺激の多い撫子の美術部で制作に励んでいた。
そうして半年が過ぎ、季節は秋。
美術部にとって重要なイベントである文化祭の季節。
今年は文化祭に加え、「撫子芸術祭」という撫子学園の各姉妹校と合同で開催する一大イベントも行われる。
輝かしい受賞歴を持つ"亮"は美術部のエースとして、撫子本校の代表に選ばれた。
しかし亮には悩みがあった。
人物を描けない
モチーフに人が入ってくると、"亮"は作品に入ってくことができなかった。
技術的には完成させることができるのだが、どこか納得がいかない。
入学以前から抱えていたその悩みは、絵を目指すきっかけとなった"麻生大輔"の母校 撫子学園に入っても解決されることはなく、"亮"の制作を行き詰まらせることになる。
