Amazing!!
A huge book fill with all you need to know about Final Fantasy XIII and even more!! Pictures of concept art as well as the finished version of the game. Plus a closer look at the voice actors from the Japanese edition! great stuff!!

Amazing collection for a fan
A great collection of art and design of all things FF XIII. It contains illustrations and designs for people, places, beasts, bosses, edilons, and more. Is almost entirely art with a small section in the beginning dedicated to a story synopsis and the end having interviews with the cast and others. A definite buy!

The final chapter
Chapter 1 Summary full story explaining every detail. (a lot of screenshots). (150 pages)
Chapter 2 The art of FF XIII with scenario, vehicles, characters, summons, enemies. (200 pages)
Chapter 3 Interviews with Japanese voice actors and summary of all the FF XIII products on the market.
Final chapter to FF Ultimania XIII. like all the omegas is a must-buy if you enjoy art and the symbolism of the game. Illustrations of chapter 2 are amazing and show the world you saw in the game detailed to the extreme.
I wish it was translated ....

Excellent book!
This is a fantastic collection of all kinds of different art for FFXIII, and I wouldn't just recommend it to fans of the game or FF; it's worth it for fans of art! The book itself is rather small in height and width, but it's still loaded with well over 300 pages of beautiful visuals with extremely intricate detail of the characters, cities, summons, creatures, etc. It'd be amazing if someone could translate it (or the parts of it I'd definitely love to see translated), but I guess that'll come with time. Of course, if you do read Japanese, you'll immediately learn more than you ever thought you could about the game and all of the people behind it.

Absolutely and totally recommended.

Great Item for FF Collectors
Great item for Final Fantasy fans and collectors. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is a fan of Final Fantasy XIII. The artwork is amazing, and the pictures are beautiful.

Lacking in terms of...
...art for the main characters, but its a beautiful book, recounts the story, shows art of all the locales as well as a lot of other goodies packed inside. Makes me appreciate the game even more.

Great Collectors Item For FFXIII Fans
This book has a great collection of FFXIII concept art, a must if you’re into FFXIII and game development.

Must have for FFXIII fans
If you heard people said this is a 'must buy', then they really meant it. It really is. It's packed full with information. A few details below :

Part I is about Invitation to Fabula Nova Crystallis and a huge amount of Story Playback complete with screenshots. You even get to see stuffs like the l'cie mark's 13 steps progress with explanation and chart which is neat.

Part II is my favorite which is the Art of FFXIII. Want to see Lightning's house? It's here and it's beautiful. They're also lots production arts for the world of Pulse and Cocoon. Summons, side characters, airships, transportation, symbols, alphabets, items, weapons, enemies, PSICOM and Guardian Corp soldiers and many more. Most artworks by Nao Ikeda and Chikako, no Nomura's artworks whatsoever.

Part III is mostly interviews with the seiyuus, and the developers, detailed maps, some making of (there's a chibi sprite of Lightning), goodies and collectibles, and there's also a short story included.

All in all, you don't have to love the game to love this book. If you like the world and lore of FFXIII, then do yourself a favor and buy this.
