It's very sturdy, has 3 slots for 3ds cartridges inside and a pouch for cleaning cloth and AR cards.

I am using the this hard puch together with the TPU Yawakata Cover for 3DS XL. The 3DS XL matches perectly in the pouch.

There is a little too much room inside the case and the console slightly moves when carried. But with extra padding (I use a cleaning cloth), everything's fine. So I'm pretty happy overall, protection is top-notch.

Great clear case
I ordered this case and was a bit hesitant at first. I am happy that this case is made up of two different pieces as opposed to being one single case. While it does add a bit of weight to my XL, it also feels very secure and protected. This is a great alternative to having to carry the XL in a pouch. The only drawback is that due to "hugging" the XL closely, you might notice marks the case makes up against the body of the XL. However, this is only cosmetic and the XL is nice and safe underneath the case. This is another one of those great Hori products.
