Prior to purchasing this single, all reviews I'd heard were very mixed. However, I decided to order anyway because I adore their style. Mao's vocals, yes very similar to Kyo (Dir en grey), however, I think Mao is able to do different things with his voice allowing for a different sound. The guitar on this single and bass and drums are just amazing! Aki's bass is very clear, which I find is not the case in a lot of other bands releases -- usually harder to pick out, Kei's drumming is pristine and Mizuki and Tsurugi's guitars just single on this release. Definitely recommended. I think though that every fan has to grow with their band of choice.
