That's why I brought this HD collection.

One Of the best games ever. Period.
This two games always been amazing in any plataform(ps2, ps3, xbox 360) but this is the definitive version in my opinion!! Perfect in every aspect !!!

Classics never die
PS2/PSP MGS Classics make an entry on the PS3, and they are as sublime as ever. Rendered in glorious HD with crisp textures and buttery smooth 60 FPS, the games are a joy to play and relive. Trophy support is the icing on the cake. Also, the included MGS3 is the subsistence version meaning you get Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 as well (basically 5 games in one). It's pretty much perfect except that the publishers could have included MGS1 (or at least the Twin Snakes remake) as well to make the epicness complete. Buy this.

This is the collection of the best game ever. It has good story, gameplay, characters and voice work.
There are 3 games into one disc, and it contains over 300 hours of gameplay.
If you want to know why MGS is very famous or want a proof that story and gameplay can weave beautifully into a game, this is the game you have to get.
I played them all on PS2 and PSP, and now I'll play them again on PS3.

Opportunity for Xbox360 players
If Xbox360 players haven't had the chance the play MGS before, then this is a good selection. Not only it contains MGS2, MGS3, MGS: Peace Walker, it also contains Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake which is the very start of Metal Gear series. It would be nice if MGS1 and MGS4 are also included.

Taking the hd console version and putting it on a tiny handheld while keeping it almost exactly the same is just awesome. If you want to play snake on the go then get this, its just as good as the console version (minus peace walker, and a bit of lag during cutscenes)

Great Collection
I used to have a PS2 and I loved Sons of Liberty. Later, I switched to the XBox and always felt a bit cheated every time a new MGS game came out. This collection makes up for that in spades. My only gripe is it would've been great to have the first PS1 MGS on here, too.

I played the original MG games on the NES, then jumped to MGS3. Never got to play MGS2 or Peacewalker. Simply awesome bargain, and the HD upscaling is wicked. Do yourself a favour and buy this game.

Better than you remember
It's an interesting cross-section to package together:
A game from the near-beginning of the PS2's life
A game from the near-end of the PS2's life, and
A game from the end of the PSP's life.
ALL hold up incredibly well with today's standards; the biggest surprise being MGS2. This HD collection has rekindled my love of MGS and I now find myself playing through MGS4 again because of it.
If only it included the GameCube's Twin Snakes...
But on the plus side, MGS2 & 3 are the Substance & Subsistence versions.

Arrived in time. I wish they had revamped the controls so they were the same controls for mgs4, but instead they have stuck with the old, lame pressure sensitive square button for shoot. Still great games though and I enjoy playing them.

I believe most fans who previously owed both the ps2 MGS2 and 3 would purchase this title. Its definitely a worth buy for collection , now comes with HD version as nowsadays many of us have HD TV and the older standard TV would not give better graphic quality if you play them with ps2. Besides, an extra title peace walker comes together making this a must for MGS fans.

Excellent Package
I've only played MGS2 & 3, but even if you're just buying this for one of those games it would be a great deal. The remastered visuals and audio are fantastic and very well done. MGS3 especially looks amazing in HD.

A very classy package
Konami have really given Metal Gear Solid fans a treat, you get 3 great Metal Gear Solid games all in one with some improved visuals. I have only played MGS2 so far but I am enjoying it. It would have been nice to have MGS1 in it as well, but it is on the US PSN network for $10.
If any MGS fans wanted an easy way to add these titles in their collection, or simply enjoy some previous games with nicer visuals this is simply a must buy. These among the best games when first released and still are great games by today's standard. If you missed out on playing them, this is the chance to experience one of the best series ever.
