Hours of fun
I found myself playing for hours straight and having a blast. Controls are pretty easy to learn. A lot of fun to play with other people. Definitely recommend this to any fan of gundam, it even has Crossbone!

One of the best Gundam games ever!
This is such a great Gundam game with so many Mobile Suits to use. Don't like some the music tracks? Then change them with some of your favorites. It is great playing this all of my favorite Gundam music.
For both Fighting game and Gundam fans, this game is awesome. Definitely worth buying!

I only waited 13 days with the free shipping method which wasn't long at all and when I received the game, it was nicely wrapped and new. Gundam Extreme VS
The game was great, it's definitely a step up from the Gundam vs series on PS2/PSP and I'm glad I bought it. There are a lot more suits and more fun to be had with this gem, so it's a must buy for fans that played the Gundam vs. series in the past.

Should You Get this Game?
Almost any Gundam fan that is willing to play a Japanese-only game and one that's a bit more expensive than usual should most definitely get this game, for the fanservice and fun, balanced and addicting gameplay.
If you aren't a big Gundam fan/haven't seen any but are interested in playing a more unique fighting game with 2v2, 3D and robots, then you could try this game at your friends house to see if you like it. Or even better, find a few Gundam series to watch to get yourself interested!

While I have been a fan of the Gundam Musou/Dynasty Warrior Gundam series, I found Gundam Extreme VS to be worth a challenge - especially the selection of mobile suits including the ones I have yet to play, along with the enemy AI! For fans of Gundam, this is for you!

Highly addictive.
Being from the West, there aren't many Gundam games available. So I decided to pick this one up and am I sure glad I did. I am just hooked on VS Extreme now scoring in about several hours a day with it. Although the gameplay can get repetitive at times, the numerous mobile suits you can play as switch things up enough.

Extreme vs is the best gundam game ever. I really appreciatte the whole gundam vs series, but this one is amazing! Fast action, beautiful graphics and amazing soundtrack. If you like gundam, buy it. If like mechas, buy it. If you like fast arcade-action game, buy it!!!!

Still the best Gundam game up to date
Got this for 40$, very good deal for a game of such quality. The game was released 2011 and there is still no Gundam game that can top this one! Custom BGM option makes the game even more valuable!

I can't stop playing this. Fast paced action and lots of different mobile suits, what more could you want. The game is a bit challenging but the menus and controls are easy to work out

Highly Enjoyable
As others have stated, if you enjoy fast paced games, this is for you. A great 3D fighter, has very high challenge potential during online play. A must buy for any Gundam fan. Also great to get while you wait for Extreme Versus:Full Boost to come out.

Exciting but difficult to play
The game is a bit fast, with nice graphics and decent soundtrack. Good mobile suit roster, but kinda sucks the extra units need to be bought from PSN.

Quality game.
Just got "The Best" release, and the game is amazing. Lots of different mobile suits, modes, ands fighting styles. Nice addition to the gaming library! Also, this a GREAT game for local two player co-op action.

A MUST HAVE GAME FOR THE PS3!
Words cannot describe how great this game is.
First of all, I am gundam fan since I was kid and been collecting figures since then.
This is my second time playing a real Gundam game where you could choose your favorite mobile suits from previous gundam installments.
The gameplay is similar to GvsG Plus without the mobile assist.
My only complain is that the dlc for this game is a bit expensive even though there are only 7 mobile suits to purchase, one being free.
I highly recommend this game for those looking for a decent enough hours of gameplay and as well to play with their friends and siblings.

Every Gundam Fan Will Enjoy This
I don't know where to start with this game but it is wonderful. The visuals great, the character roster is huge, the controls are easy to learn but hard to master.

If you love Gundam, than this is a must. Most Mobile Suits all in one game, this game is similar to Sega's Virtual-On, but much more complex in controls and battle system. There is a lot going on in this 2-on-2 fighting game, flying around in your favorite mechs in 3rd-person, you can see the signature styles and poses/moves that are used in the anime.
What is really awesome is that you can play 2-players on one console, so you can go all out with a friend on your team as you try to learn the controls and play against the AI, or on the opposing team where you might be more worried about the computer killing you than your friend. You can also disable slots and do a 1-on-1 (or a 2-on-1 for some reason) if there is too much going on or you want no assistance in your fight. I can't tell you about all of the options yet, but I have played many of the mobile suits, and I immediately had to use Gamefaqs to figure out the controls because it was much more difficult to figure out compared to the PSP version.

One of the best Gundam games ever made.
As a long time fan of the virtual-on series, I don't know how I was able to pass up on the Gundam Vs series for so long. The controls are incredibly tight, and deceptively simple. There is a huge amount of depth to uncover within the actual fighting engine and it's very important to find a good team-mate once you start playing online. Even if you are only going to play this solo/couch coop, there is still plenty to do with standard arcade play, as well as a diverse set of missions to complete. Any fan of the Gundam series or Virtual-On should not hesitate on picking up this title.
As a long time fan of the virtual-on series, I don't know how I was able to pass up on the Gundam Vs series for so long. The controls are incredibly tight, and deceptively simple. There is a huge amount of depth to uncover within the actual fighting engine and it's very important to find a good team-mate once you start playing online. A Gundam Fan's dream
You can definitely tell why this game is doing so well in Japan arcades. Love this game. Im a major gundam fan I really love this game. It's a shame that GVs Extreme Full Boost was release a little bit after the release of this PS3 port. Im hoping to see another port come out for Ps3 soon.
Otherwise, Play-Asia was really quick getting it out to me, securely packaged and overall service was awesome. I'd definlity recommend this site to anyone and will shop again here on Play-Asia.

Dont be mislead
I had left a review here before after a week of playing, but given more time with the game it began to look ugly. I have noticed everyone has been giving the game a perfect score, but I have to take mine back and give it my final opinion. Trial mode is basically the story mode of the game. It consists of 6 tiers of difficulty you unlock after you beat each tier. Each tier consists of have around 35-57 stages or so. At first they seem challenging and fun, but the games difficulty takes such a huge turn that it can very well turn people off of the game and I love challenges! Instead of relaying on skill you eventually beat stages by sheer luck and it's not rewarding. It's as if the game developers where trying to push the breaking limit of the game. After beating Trial Mode, some how, you realize that online play is where the game must truly shine-- and it does! The online play consists of team vs or death match. My friend, who also owns the game, both discovered the disappoint of online suddenly, thinking Trial Mode was the worst it could offer, but we were in for a disappointing surprise-- there is NO voice-chat, robing the game of its fun with any friends to play online. My friend and I now play the Arcade Mode, which is only 2 play split-screen, local, and its finally been enjoyable. The Arcade Mode provides challenges and you are to able to truly use any suit you wish without having the worry of being ripped apart. I say this because in Trial Mode the only way to beat it is by using far stronger suits like Wing Zero etc. you would go no where with something like the Ez8, which really ruins the fun factor and restricts the game heavily. If you want to play a great Gundam VS title go back to Federation VS Zeon for PS2, if you love Universal Century. It has a real story mode, arcade and VS mode. Stepping back and looking at Extreme with a clear non frustrated head I wonder why so many people are loving the game when its predecessors are far superior. Extreme is not worth $100 by any means, if you love Gundam as much as I do, please just hold off until the price drops. It's a very broken and feels incomplete, even if you are not about team play then the game still does not offer enough for the price or fun factor.

Extreme is not worth $100 by any means, if you love Gundam as much as I do, please just hold off until the price drops. It's a very broken and feels incomplete, even if you are not about team play then the game still does not offer enough for the price or fun factor.

Amazing
Perfectly designed game with seamless interface for offline or online play.. barely any loading time, great animations/graphics/maps/units. my only complaint is that you can't play 2 on 2 offline and the split screen wastes much of the display-space. Other than that, this game is one of the best high-action games I've played and I believe it to be the future of fighting games!!!

Best Gundam fighting game since Gundam Battle Assault 2
For a 2v2 3D Fighter, this game is very strategic in many ways possible. You actually feel like your fighting as a MS Pilot and trying to find strategic ways to get in your opponent. Hopefully with the success this game is receiving, we can get the Full Boost version on Console as well.

Gundam Extreme VS. simply is an amazing MP game that can be done co-op offline or online. It looked better than I could imagine.
Controls for me are a bit hard to learn, I'm still learning but for the most part practice makes perfect. It's a must have for Gundam fans and even Giant robot fans.

This game is a must have for Gundam fans especially those who loves the VS series but it does have some problems. Ive never owned a Gundam game until extreme vs came out Ive always played on my friends G games now since i have this its so nice to have my own and what a start extreme has awesome combat and best of all its so easy to navigate through even though its in Japanese and i only speak English. This game has fast action paced gameplay and as well have some suits like the forbidden gundam as a playable suit. However they didn't call this Extreme VS for nothing as the difficulty can sometimes be over the top hard especially in trial mode. Overall get this game before it's too late as early buyers can earn a code to get the hi-nu gundam.

Fantastic arena action
Simply put its the best gundam game available at the moment. A ton of care was put into the the minute stuff like the frames and combat. Money can't buy a better gundam game out there then this.

Best Gundam Game
The is the best Gundam Game, I would recommend buying this for its nice Graphics, Missions, Online, and especially the Gundam from almost all the series. The mood when playing this game is so realistic, fun, and almost impossible to let go.
This is a must buy for all fans.

awesome game
A revival, if you will, of the Gundam Vs franchise yet again. Very easy to pick up and play arcade action, game features some new MS not seen in the franchise yet and destructible environments (buildings just explode into pieces). Only complaint I can make is some unites from the previous Gundam vs Gundam series did not make a return making the roster noticeably smaller. If you love Gundam it's worth your money, otherwise wait for a sale or price-drop (that $100 puts a serious dent in your wallet u.u)

this game is my dream,I always wanted an arcade gundam game on the PS3 and the wait is over! it has every series in the gundam universe,promised DLCs,the graphics are great! and the gameplay has the same formula of the ps2 gundam games which is awesome and feels familiar yet fresh

This game is too awesome! If you ever played the Gundam Vs series on PS2 or PSP, this game is just amazing. The play control is top notch, and once the game is installed, the loading is very fast. Plenty of Gundam themes (with lyrics) and you can use your own music stored in the PS3 to replace themes you do not like. This game is too good.

Solid game all around, be it single player or co-op arcade, versus offline or online, the game has it all.
Looks great and runs just as one would expect a fighting game too.

Master Piece
With HD graphics, this game is just absolutely stunning! You can always find your favorite gundam in this game. It is the best gundam game so far in the history. The Trial Missions just really stand out in my opinion. The online play is also awesome. You will find yourself spending hours on this game without even close to get bored.

...that's sadly underrated in my country. But! I'll be sure to promote it here like crazy!
