average racing game
First of all, the game is a pretty solid racing game if not for the following - when you first start up the game, you are encouraged to visit the NFS store so that you may purchase two more add-on packs to the game (i.e. the Porsche and Lamborghini packs). This means that the game is technically incomplete at time of release.
Next thing is - if you're buying this game after 2010, the Online Pass password doesn't work anymore. This game is a mild disappointment.

this game is NOT incredible, but it is really fun
This game didn't re-invent arcade racing, nor is it as fun as the original hot pursuit, but it is really fun, enough so that I still give the game 5 stars.
The game looks great, the controls are great, and at times the racing can be REALLY intense just like a good arcade racer should. On the surface it is your run of the mill arcade racer done well, but in Hot Pursuit, for those of you who do not know, you have to avoid cops trying to catch you and visa versa. The online mode is okay, but did not blow me away, then again I have never played a racer with a spectacular on-line mode.
This game didn't re-invent arcade racing, nor is it as fun as the original hot pursuit, but it is really fun, enough so that I still give the game 5 stars.

Great game!
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a very good game to PlayStation 3. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is cool but the difficult is a little bit hard. This Need for Speed game make we remember the first game of Hot Pursuit to PlayStation 2. I really enjoy to play it. Buy and enjoy... and the price of Play-Asia is the best too!!!

incredible game
the environments of this game are incredible! the landscapes are visually stunning, and add a extra layer of beauty to the game. Controls are good, physics and mechanics are good, the adrenaline at play is fantastic!
The online mode - the Autolog - is the best feature, and are a lot of players online every time whilling to race you.
The only negative point, in my opinion, is the lack of a local multiplayer, some kind of splitscreen game mode.
