Mario and Luigi are back, and this time, their task is to collect a million coins. Super Mario Brothers 2 is a continuation of the DS game released in 2006. Familiar characters and props, such as the Super Leaf are back. Transform the pipe cleaner into a raccoon and all sorts of creatures to make your coin collection as exciting as possible. Make the Golden Flower bloom, put on the ring to turn your enemies into coins, and put on the block mask to generate coins when the pipe cleaners run.

There are more mini-games. Collect as much coins as you can in just one life span in the coin rush mode. And when you are dealing extra challenging stages, ask your brother to come help you out as Luigi.

Great 2D Mario experience
On 3DS outing of NSMB - it feels like a proper sequel to the Wii version of the NSMB. While keeping the same gameplay, interesting level design continues to challenge and bring entertainment to players.

Enjoyable!
Very similar to the original DS version but with better graphics and updates in general and the new mode that makes this game some how original.

Is good for both amateours and veterans.

Meh.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is neither a step back nor a step forward for the series. It's literally almost the same game as New Super Mario Bros. on DS & Wii. Nintendo has added a minor change which is collecting as many coins as possible but this becomes rather a fool's errand that's not fun nor satisfying.

If you really have nothing to play and want to kill time because you have nothing better to do, get this game. But this is the worst game of the series and a near-exact clone of previous games.
