A great shooting game of strategy, different from everything else, there is certainly the opportunity to give this title
not as fast paced as the call of duty series, but this FPS has its own selling points and worth to experience. Tactical shooter and good campaigns! There is no online game play though :(
You got to see the intro movie! And also do not forget about the game.... An example of how to make good, fair sequels to a strong franchise.
Operation Flashpoint Red River is an tactical FPS.
He is slow paced and can be brutal, you can issue comands to your NPC team mates and you can also play cooperative up to four players.
He is completly different from Call of Duty and Battlefield, so don't expect the same.
The game has an unique feel and it is fun, if you like tactical games.
However he has some problems:
long cut-cenes that nothing happens and you cannot skip them.
and "so-so" story.
He is worth the price that play-asia is charging! So it's worth. For more? I doubt...
This game is okay, better than the other Operation Flashpoint by a whole lot more.
if you love realistic military shooter, then this is the game to get. I would recommend this game to those who love GRAW series. But this one is more realistic. Its an awesome game!
Graphics are great. The ordering system makes the team-based strategy felt realistic, and your teammates' AI as they move from cover to cover when told to advance is satisfying. My only complaint is that the single player campaign was too short, but if you're looking for a reason to pull the trigger, it still has plenty of challenges to offer.
if you love team play, then its your game!!!! must buy!! best deal!!
Operation Flashpoint: Red River is very good game
this is a good game with diffculty
Very good game, but also very difficult
I love series Operation Flashpoint since it is in PC with low-grade 3D graphic. Many many years passed, this series still give me the best experience - the most realistic tactical military first person shooting game!
I thinks the graphic is somehow drop from the previous series "Dragon Rising". But it has improve on many things
So, Five - Stars!
Not fast pace, but its really reallistic and need strategy to command your troops, i love it.
Series Operation Flashpoint have great graphics, fisics and tatics for advance in game. Recomend.
not that good but not bad either
if you've gotten sick to no brainer fps that just shoot any moving objects, then you should try this tactical shooter.
play it like any rush & shoot fps and you'll game over in no time.
Great game! Very cool!
A great distraction from the more popular shooters available for 360. If you enjoyed the previous Operation Flashpoint game on Xbox, this is a no-brainer.
A bit different from COD and Battlefield titles but this is a gem. A lot of fun to be had with this game.
If you have a hard time in the other less realistic tittles you'll definitely struggle with this one.
I liked very much to buy in play asia, was my first time that make buying a game and therefore the game and playasia are to be congratulated. thank you
This game is worth the price... but barely.
There are other better tactical shooters out there, but this one has its merits.
Starting is a bir boring, after u maintain to know the orders and commanding your squad. You will get more fun later on missions, its realistic modern combat, i just love those large map that actually make me feel i m in the real war
this is a very fun game. i have played all cods/battlefields operation flashpoint is a very nice change of pace. if you are diea hard for cod or BF probabley not for you.
Operation Flashpoint was aways about tatics & Good graphics. In the game you have to be shot dead easy. And it's fun.
Its isnt so bad as the review , worth to buy it really .A not bad game
Great game for the price, online co-op is a lot of fun. The only issue I had was that my manual is in Korean apart from that I can't complain.
An amazing shoot game
Show the dark side of sniper
Operation Flashpoint was aways about tatics, and this one is the best out there. Good graphics, sound's ok, but the gameplay's learning curve is a bit too high, but when you get handle os things, it's a quite unique experience.
Classic FPS, closer to a war simulator than an entertaining game.
This game is really technologically lagging, aliasing, clipping, filthy textures ... It has at least 5 or 6 years late.
Loading times are very long, but the gameplay is not bad, even if it's less funny compared to CoD or Battlefield.
It's more interesting to play the campaign in cooperative mode via the Internet (close to the "Left 4 Dead" teamplay system).
Some parts of the game are very long and without enemies, we must walk a lot. At other times there are many enemies and it's very difficult.
In summary, Operation Flashpoint Red River is unequal and dated, but it's still interesting for its simulator aspect and its realistic environment.
Red River does so much right, but a number of strange design choices undo a lot of the realism. Plus, the game does a poor job teaching you what to do. Overall, though, a fun game worth playing through once if you don't mind a lot of dying and reloading!
excelente FPS!, big maps! thanks!
I arrived in 2 weeks and 2 days in Chile, but normal shipping certificate, the game just a good competitor to the Battlefield 2 game and recommend the page
As FPS go, this one is merely ok, not very exciting, not too boring either. Pretty cool for the price it goes on PA, I'd say. I don't regret the buy, as I knew what to expect.
I made no comment about the game, because I still got no game.
IT's Still on Sale , only 19.90USD for a Great Game! Purchase it now !
I'm more of a fan of the PC iterations, but i'm drawn to both on the console and I must say that this one definitely steps it up over Dragon Rising. The AI could use a little work, though
Good and cheap game. Is a great shooter game with a good history.
this is a great game! Im still waiting come to me at home!
great videogame eith subtitles and speak english!
Good price, Good special week. Thanks
Not as great as the others of the same title, but worthwhile spending money on. A few glitches here and there, but nonetheless fun game to play through if you like a more tactical FPS category game.
Good FPS game
Red River isn't a bad game but if you're buying this title for the Operation Flashpoint title, you may be disappointed.
Red River tries too hard to be like Call of Duty and the latest Medal of Honor and fails to deliver either an experience like that or something similar to the original Flashpoint games (or even Dragon Rising).
Some fun to be had if you can buy the game cheap but not something that will ever be considered a classic moment of gaming.
another nice FPS game, and thank PA offer it in super cheap price
Not nearly as engaging as other first person shooters and easy to switch off during the "story" parts of the game. I would not recommend this game unless you get it for a bargain price (as I did).
nice game but graphics dissapoints.
Good game by a good price!
red river is a great game however it is a difficult game as there is not much tutorial in the game which may be hard for newbie to pick up the pace of playing this game. It has different experience than other FPS, so if you feel like to try something different, you should get this!
not just another FPS game / CoD Copycat
this one is more about war strategy
hello, guys. this game i think overall is good, my score is 70%.
nice story. but less in graphic.
good game good price
More suitable for guys who went army b4 due to some commands they issue r more amry oriented
Great visual.. Great action.. but I cant play FPS in PS3 so I buy this one coz the nice price..
This is a great game, I love taking my men into battle and being able to direct them.
Seems very realistic to me, graphics are good, sounds are great.
A good buy
It's amazing to see how far this has come.
The tactics are good to work with, frantic at times. But that's the joy of it. Going into the heat of battle and directing your men around.
Great fun, recommend it
Operation Flashpoint: Red River is a nice shooter overall. The tactical gameplay is actually quite fun as compared to other shooters out there. Graphics are what you will expect from codemasters. Definetely worth the price offered.
Offline and online are great...
Tactical and action, amazing.
The developer successfully depicting realistic war zone. The game really worth for strategic war lover, for those who seek fast action as in Modern Warfare may disappoint. However I missed the almost-unlimited area on first operation flashpoint
Great war game. Fun tactical shooter
Good game too bad it R2.
The single player campaign is really good, and certainly for those willing to persevere is worth the time and effort, and seems lengthy enough to keep you entertained for a good while.
Like it~ great graphics
This is a great game and is probably the best tactical shooter on the xbox 360.
codemaster so crazy.
no pvp, no strategic, boring game.
Operation Flashpoint was a game that delivered more of old Ghost Recon style of gameplay than the spectacle you get with the likes of COD games.
On the current generation we've already seen OF Dragon Rising, which even with the flaws, managed to differentiate itself from the crowded shooter genre.
With Red River you to get the refinements you would expect from said sequel, however the game still needs a lot more work to be able to adequately compete with the big players.
If you have liked Dragon Rising, you'll likely enjoy this one as well, but if you didn't like Dragon Rising, this game won't change your mind either.
Red river is not far from a very good strategic war game, solid graphics and a real sense of what happening during war in Iraq or Afghanistan, it is not a shhoter like COD but it is a good idea introduce squad command as xbox original beautiful game ''full spectrum warrior''.Good shipment with ups only 24 euro of additional cost including duties it may too much .
Just an average shooter, good weapons, having the ability too call for mortor strikes is cool.weapons and character skills upgradable.normal graphics.some good ideas, with some adjustments it could be a great shooter.recommend crysis 2 for the best recent shooter
Flashpoint:Red River is tring to be more like COD then keeping to a open world multiplayer game, so I would not tell anyone to buy the game its self but Playasia is very fast and lives up to it's commitments on everyting else
It is good in many ways.. I'm a single player gamer and I love shoots as my fav game type... But the squad command is iffy and difficulty is all over the shop. Apart from these and a few other problems.. Not having Frags Grenades from the beginning is stupid.. Not a patch on crysis 2
Operation Flashpoint: Red River is a good game
Operation Flashpoint: Red River is a good game that sometimes comes close to greatness but is let down by a misguided need to become something it's not meant to be.
It's too tactical for the average gamer and too pedestrian for gamers that enjoy a tactical challenge. There are some great additions to the game that weren't in Dragon Rising such as customizable loadouts and skill points to assign to your character but the gameplay feels extremely restricted compared to the open map quality of the previous incarnation of Operation Flashpoint.
Old school Flashpoint fans probably wouldn't find much here to like but if you enjoyed the original Ghost Recon games, this may provide at least something of the tactical experience that even that series is now missing.
