Very light handheld system
As title says, I was not expecting the system I bought to be this light, a problem on the older versions is that if you play games for too long, it will feel much more heavier than normal.
Now, this one is light, got a very clear blue color and feels great in your hands. Now just remember to use it carefully and it will last for a very long time.
Perfect for song games like Hatsune Miku etc!

Very nice game console. A lot of functions, but you need to have a memory stick to enjoy all the functions, also you need a screen protector to avoid scratch.

good but not great
for something that usually ships in a week took almost 4 weeks before it was shipped, the color of the actual unit and the color of the photo are a bit different the photo here is more vibrant but the actually psp is a few tones darker that cant really be helped as lighting can play a big part in how the color looks.
it is great quality and does the job. and if you want a unique psp this is the one for you

better than 1000
I have been using both PSP 1000 model and PSP 3000 model, and found a lot of improvements on the later model. It's lighter (=smaller battery) and the color display is better (the output of hot pink color is gorgeous.)

The only reason I brought a psp 3000 cause my rare ceramic white psp 1000 was stolen. But after I brought the psp pearl white 3000, I notice some difference. First is the volume output, my 1000 seems to have a much louder volume output then 3000, using the headphone is the same but without headphone my 1000 seems louder, reason I say this is when I am at home and playing I don't like to use headphone just in case phone ring, doorbell, or someone call me at least I can hear my surrounding, plus I just don't like the feeling of having headphone on all the time. Secondly the eject button and how the game was hold in place, the 1000 was way better with an eject button and slots to hold the game in place, the 3000 just pull the back and put it in, if one day I get too tired and not pay attention I might put the game in the wrong way and damage it. Overall the 3000 is ok but I definitely prefer my 1000 series better if only they were not out of production and is like extinct.

The PSP3000 Blossom Pink I bought recently is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The pictures do not give it enough credit. It's a really beautiful system and i can't seem to find any retailers selling them other than in Japan and on playasia. It's really great and sort of like a limited edition so if you see one that's available be sure to grab it quick.

The PSP's got a lot of good games for it. Plus having the downloadable PS1 games makes the psp great for retro gamers aswell.

Great for long trips
The PSP is a great time killer for long trips. It is small, so it doesn't take up a lot of room in your backpack and it is light enough, so it doesn't weigh you down. I have been playing with my new PSP non-stop. It's an excellent buy. If you are thinking about buying one, then do it. It is well worth it.

I got a White PSP 3000 right before Christmas last year. It It is a great system. The screen is amazing, There are tons of fun games, and is great for watching movies. And the white color is fantastic! The one I got had a neat sparkly effect to it, and doesn't show fingerprints like the black one. Playasia has a great service on shipping stuff although the psp price is kind of more expensive . But it's worth to buy and it arrived here only in 2 days . I'm very excited when I've received it . It only took 3 days for the PSP3000 PW to arrive to my door. Well to start this off the weight is noticeably different from the 1000 model and i can tell you that i like it, it saves my hands from that extra weight, to top that off the color isn't so red but like a candy red like hot pinkish the brightness and sound are improved as well as the a extra microphone for Skype. To sum this review all up the color which is available from Japan and people upgrading from the 1000 model this I urge you to make a future investment in this product ... my rating is 10/10 and for people with a 2000 model its a 7/10.

The right PSP for my personality.
I really enjoy the color yellow, so it's nice to get a more "personalized" PSP for my use.
The color is less vibrant yellow as in the images, but more of a golden yellow color.
Screen is also an improvement over my second generation PSP.

The first & most important issue for me was the weight, and with the PSP 3000 it is so light compared to the PSP 1000, I couldn't believe how they took the weight off from the exact same size of a console. The screen is also much better now, I rarely see myself while playing games. Now with the PSP 3000, I want to play more games with it, not to mention watching umd movies or even listening to music.

Delivers in Every Aspect
I had never purchased a PSP before, so I didn't exactly know what to expect of this system before I got my hands on it. To be honest, it surprised me with how well-made it is. It's light-weight, smooth, and pretty just to look at. The white color looks amazing, sparkly, and clean - I definitely prefer it over the other, darker colors. As far as performance, the system has yet to fail to deliver. The graphics look great, the system runs smooth with minimal load times, and the audio leaves nothing to be desired. Overall, a highly recommended system if you find something you're interested in playing on the PSP.

the 2000 and 3000 both feel very cheap even though there light weight they took out some of the great things about the original psp like the UMD loader before it had a switch u move then it opened these ones you just pull open. even though the old ones are heavier they are built better and were definitely worth the $300 it used to cost. they skipped out on the quality because they needed to lower costs to compete with the DS. when instead they should have been making better games. all in all its ok but not as good as the original.

Best Console Ever
Bought this to replace my older PSP2000 ice silver. This one's a lot better with a matt finish, no fingerprints at all. However, if you want to install custom firmware you may want to stick with older models.

PSP 3000 Radiant Red
Great system. It's a lot louder and slightly brighter than the 2000. Apart from that there's minor differences between the two models. Although I'm glad to have access to Japan's UMD movie collection now!

I bought the Vibrant Blue PSP, and it just looks absolutely great. The reason I got it was for the unique color, and it really didn't disappoint.
However, as another reviewer pointed out, make sure that you DO NOT get the firmware updates for the US PSP, and that you go to Sony Japan to get the Japanese PSP firmware update. Other than that, every game will work flawlessly, as games on the PSP are inherently region free.
To note, however, there is no Sony Pro Duo memory stick included in this package, and a lot of games require one to even run correctly. Therefore, you may want to invest in an 8gig or 16gig stick if you intend on purchasing this.
In regards to the purchase process, everthing went smoothly, and shipping was very fast, considering how far it had to travel. I once again find myself very satisfied with the service from Play-Asia.
Final Verdict: This PSP is awesome, and you can really only get it by importing it. The best place to get it is from here, but you'll want to make sure you upgrade the firmware from Sony Japan's site and not Sony America's site.

This is my first psp and I simple loved it. The vibrant color makes my psp stand out from the rest and it's very eye-catching indeed. It feels special to own a different and unique colored psp. You'll feel really good once you've owned it. Trust me, I'm proud of it! :D

I've owned every single incarnation of the PSP so far, and I've held the American PSP-3000 in my hands and played it before as well. This particular model and color are just downright sexy. The way the paint looks in the light, the system seems to SHIMMER in your hands, and since you can't get this color in the US, it does turn a lot of heads. Screen is awesome, and is of course compatible with all US PSP games.
One note: Make sure you get firmware updates via the Sony Japan site, and not through Network Update, as you'll break it with the American Firmware.

I just received my Pearl White PSP from Play-Asia. First, in terms of packaging...Sony continues to make the boxes smaller but still contain all the items you expect. It comes with the PSP, battery, ac adapter, cleaning cloth and 4gb stick. Very nice package! The PSP continues to amaze me...the screen is clearly more vibrant and detailed. The casing has a luster on it that is nice and does indeed hide fingerprints. The UMD housing is improved and easier to slide the games into. I updated the software to V.5.0. with no trouble. The number of items you can change in the settings is also increased. I am thrilled by how you can customize the unit in so many ways. Overall, I really tip my hat off to Sony. This 3000 is a great unit.

I have always purchased black electronics such as my MacBook, my PS3, and my TV... but for some reason, I've always thought the PSP looks best in white. You can't see finger prints on the white ones as easily and everyone notices you when you play a game on a bright white PSP. I can't wait to get mine later this year!

PSP Slim and Lite Felicia Blue
I must say, this is a gorgeous PSP.
The color is not as bright as it shows in the promo picture, but it's quite sparkly and beautiful none the less.
In comparison to the original PSP, this is a definite improvement. The console is -significantly- lighter than it's predecessor. Several switches, the speakers and the headphone jack have been moved, as well (all for the better).
The quality of video when hooked up to a TV is excellent, even for those uploaded from a computer (as opposed to a UMD).

Hope full to be psp owner
I am currently saving up for the mint green psp. When I first saw it I instantly fell in love with it!!the graphics looked amazing with every game and the wireless internet is a wonderful bonus!even though I love blue when I saw the green I cound't help but forget about the blue psp!

I love my PSP! I got it today and I am so happy that the shipping was so speedy (day before Christmas ftw). The color is beautiful, but it does show fingerprints, so buy a case or something. I was able to see the PSP in action, thanks to my best friend, after having to buy a DS first at the time. Now I want a PSP of my own. Not only because it's a portable console, but of the many features that it has. I'm looking forward to playing my music on it, instead of having to deal with shuffling CDs. As well as viewing the beautiful visualizations and watching videos.

To be honest, I originally wasn't going to get another PSP--after all, this one is pretty much the original, just smaller right?
Well yeah. Kinda.
But to be honest, I believe it takes you having the new slim system to understand how great it really is.
First of all, the look is just plain stellar, more so on this particular system: it's a nice, pale pink, but it seems to have a pearl finish that you can't appricate until you actually have it in your hand. Heck, even the box it came in looked nice enough to keep. Sony even went so far as to make the metallic ring on the back match the color of the system, so instead of it being silver like it is on the original system or even the new silver slims , it's pink. (Or in my guy's case, blue.)
It feels amazingly weightless, the speakers are placed toward the top which actually makes for much better sound, it's a lot easier to play with (because the system now is quite smooth and straight on the back instead of the two bumps on either side), I even like the UMD opening better (you simply pull it out instead of pressing over a lever.)
Though my favorite feature by far is connecting the handheld to my television--which may not sound like much if you have some of the same games on say, your PS2. But for the few great PSP exclusives the system has, it's really stellar. I spent hours playing Ultimate Ghost and Goblins and Megaman Powered Up.
The connection is ridiculously easy and all you do is push the small button next to the music note to get it started. You can adjust how the picture will fit your screen as well. (Like widescreen, in a box, or your entire television.)
Overall, I find this is one of the best buys I've made in some time, and I would recommend anyone interested in getting a PSP to not only go for the slim, but one of the 'exclusive' colors like these before they run out!

this is a must have for any final fantasy fan, i mean, it's the new slim&lite with custom FFVII artwork on the back and you get to play chrisis core, which in my opinion kicks the crud out of all the other FFVII spin offs, if you like FF buy this, now.

yay!!! I got it in the Mail!!!!, I hooked it up and I'm just dumb founded!!!! very lite console, plays great,sounds great, shocked it came with head phones ,Buster Sword Wrist Strap is tight! I am very satified and not complaining here. I can understand why most people aren't impressed by the price BUT as a FF fan...... to me it is well worth the price in such a tiny lil box. nothing wrong with being a picky buyer LOL

I was really ready to go into a large dialogue about the price tag. Although I doubt its necessary seeing as, if you already bought it the ship has sailed and is probably in flames. But I just got it and, after seeing it and being invaded by what most people will call a fangirl moment, the money issue seemed irrelevant.
What you can draw from my mini story is that this package is the bare essentials. A psp, a copy of the game, a buster sword keychain and a complementary pack of sweets. It's hard to swallow when the price tag is so high but if you are a fan then, when you receive it, you might understand what I mean by the fangirl (or boy, I don't judge) feeling. Get this if you're a fan. If you're expecting more than the bare essentials for this amount of money then don't bother. This is the basic gist of it, take it how you want. Hopefully I've helped a few of you make up your minds. Peace and much love.

Just beautiful
The only thing that I don't like is the sound quality. I don't know if it's only my one, but It's much worse then with the old PSP. With headphones it's fine...maybe it's broken....

Great Item, but the price tag.....
overall, it is a great game and nicely designed system (PSP slim&lite), and the Final Fantasy engraving on the back of the system is also appealing. but the problem is, given the fact that this limitd bundle only has 77,777 units worldwide, so we are expected to pay for the scalper price...?
FYI, the original manufacturer suggested retail price of this limited bundle costs only 25800 YEN, which is 220 US top.......

its not a good price
it does look good and all but 400 bucks is not worth it if they dont come with the ff crisis core headphones, or crisis core insignia ac adaptor, and also there is no FF cloth and no FF case its just a dum box. Dam i ordered it and its too late to cancel now..

Semi playable without japanese knowladge.
Final Fantasy Crisis Core has the best presentation of any psp game to date. throwing you right into the firmiler city of midgar right off the bat! this is a game you wont get to stuck in. the cutscreens are subtitled... but its in japanese with no english option. the voice acting is top notch. and i probly would rather read a scritp of the game then play it when the voices are changed over. if square enix reads this wen you release the game make it 2 umds 1 english the other japanese with english subtitles.(i doubt they would be able to put both audio tracks onto one umd as the game is huge!

One of the best special edition portable systems. Ever.
This PSP is damn near godliness. The awesome artwork on the back, the special edition version of FF:CC, the vicious Buster Sword Wrist Strap and then the fact that it's a PSP Slim? Sold. The price is well worth the money. Hopefully there will be some at Play-Asia by Christmas, but I highly doubt that, so get yours while you still can :)
