Fight with all you've got!
A fighting game with the Persona characters doesn't look convincing, I'm just hope it has a good storyline to compensate. Just as every other fighting japanese game, very confusing gameplay and difficult to master.

A great game, with good graphics and great hard to master, game play.
The region lock is the only downside.

Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is a great addition to fighting fans who can't get enough of it. That said, I must say this is a worthy game with nice graphics, the characters & backgrounds are sharp & detailed. The controls are tight & pulling special moves is not a problem at all. Best played with a good arcade stick. Non fighting fans should give it a go too.

A beary colorful and stylish fighting game!!!
Having played some of the fighting games made by Arc System, this game is very fast-paced and very easy to learn, mechanics wise. However, the only drawback I experienced in this game was that it relies on stylish combo mashing instead of being technical, like KOFXIII.
Other than that, the game delivers plenty of things to do despite of the short roster list.
I hope there would be additional dlcs that improves the gameplay and characters from previous Persona games or other SMT characters like the ones from Devil Summoner, Digital Saga, or Nocturne to name a few.

Great game, now release it in Europe...
I've been looking forward to this game for a while. Its definitely worth it, a great game; a few balance issues but what fighting game doesn't have that at first. Hopefully this remains the only region locked PS3 game. Otherwise, the game is excellent.

Great service from Play-Asia. Excellent fighter if that's your thing. If your thinking of getting it think no more. If your on the fence, remember this is one of the best looking, best controlling, least complicated fighters on the market. Loads of fun and lots of people online playing. You know it is region locked so it shouldn't change the review.

Excellent game. One of the best from Arc System Works, and an excellent spinoff of Persona 4.
Unfortunately the region lock is a major annoyance. I have an Asian PS3, but all my friends have US PS3s. Every time I want to bring the game to their houses, I must take my whole PS3, but with every other PS3 game I just take the games.
I hope this is the last game to get region locked....

Solid 2D Fighter
As expected from an Arc System Works 2D fighter, has great sprites and background. The battle system is more dynamic than BB's and also in some cases could be considered as easier/ newbie friendly. Definitely a game for both rookies and veterans of the genre.

This game is just marvelous!
All of the best ideas you've founded in the past Arc system fighting games are in this one. And one should add that Arc system made a bet on 2D fighting game: The bet is about making a game that a novice player could have pleasure and that a Versusfighting fan could also have pleasure... Arc System won the bet!
The gameplay is, in the first tries, really easy to understand but, if you wanna be the best, a lot of technical things are possible!
All of this great features are mixed up with the Persona-atmosphere, that is to say great character design, great music and a cool storyline.
This game IS REALLY A MUST HAVE!
