KAIZO NO KARIBBEAN - Best movie series ever!!!
Pirates 1 - 5/5
Definitely the best in the series. The characters are all very well played with the movie having an amazingly good and captivating story about the lost medallion that Elizabeth Swan is carrying. Captain Barbosa and the crew of the cursed Black pearl try to get the medallion in order to have their curse lifted. Legendary drunken Captain Jack Sparrow is the lead character of the movie played so well by Johnny Depp, it brings the movie to life.
Pirates 2 - 5/5
Everything is going good and well for the once again, Captain Jack Sparrow, captain of the Black Pearl when suddenly, the time has come for him to pay his debt to the heartless Davy Jones. A familiar name sets things in motion where he puts the black mark on Sparrow causing him to run away to land to escape the deadly sea creature know as the kraken. This monster is capable of sinking ships in seconds. It is larger than the Black Pearl itself. The kraken is also under the control of Davy Jones. To run away from this terror, Jack has the crew sail to an island that he has been to before mentioned in the first movie. Jack is the chief their and the people that live there think he is a god, so they intend to "free" Jack by burning him. After escaping the island with the help of Will Turner, the actual story begins where unforgiving Davy Jones shows himself for the first time. The way he steps onto the ship he attacked as the water slowly rises is just like saying, THIS is one true sinister villain. From here, the movie gets better!
Pirates 3 - 5/5
After the events that took place in Pirates 2, the story continues until the final confrontation between legendary Captain Jack Sparrow (who people still "forget" the captain part) and the menacing Davy Jones. In this movie, you get to see just how much of a heartless and ruthless tyrant Davy Jones really is by showing no mercy to anyone. This is the perfect way to end this amazing trilogy.
Pirates 4 - 3/5
I am torn between a 2 star and a 3 star on this movie because it really does have MANY great parts, but with the lack of Elizabeth and Will Turner, it is just missing something. Also, the story was a really great idea, it just didn't seem to be executed very well. Black Beard, the one all pirates fear, doesn't seem to be as terrifying as Davy Jones was. This movie is really lacking in the pirate battles part. A funny thing about Penelope Cruz is that she always looks, I don't know, something wrong with her eyes. This is one of those movies that is both good and bad. You need to make a personal choice on this one. I think this movie should have been Captain Jack Sparrow of the Black Pearl teaming up with Will Turner, the new captain of the Flying Dutchman, capable of traveling underwater and the strongest cannons of the sea returning Shipwreck Cove, assembling an army of pirates to battle the East India Trading Company. Well, after watching the movie a second time, I am sorry to say, I think it was actually worse the second time. This is the only movie that does not have Japanese audio or subtitles. That's really dumb if the rest of them have it.

This series does NOT disappoint! This is the perfect set of movies in anyone's collection and will be a series you will want to watch over and over. This movie does have English audio and subtitles. It also does have Japanese. The menus are all written in Japanese, mostly hirigana and Kanji, except the name which is written in katakana. I recommend watching this on a PS3 for the sake of the bluray menus being easier to work with on a controller. The non-English audio sounds pretty funny. If you are getting your favorite movies to help improve your Japanese, ye be warned, the pirates movies are a little hard to understand.
