Different!
A new RTS with new ideas and quite playable with the PS3 controller.

A unique RTS
RUSE is a real time strategy game but unique in it's own way that you must use information warfare over brute force. Using decoys and ruses to trick the enemies. The downside to the game is that you can only play as the US. RUSE also works surprisingly well on a console as normally one would think that RTS is for PC. The single player campaign can be rather difficult in the beginning as you can't build units but gets easier later on

acceptable RTS for console
RTS on consoles are typically hard to play well due to the control limitations vs PC. ruse has got around this fairly well so that it doesnt make it harder than it actually is to progress in the game.
all in all no regrets giving ruse a try

excellent gameplay, easy controls. the "ruses" added a deeper sense to the nature of the strategy game. the playmaking factor now has a huge impact to winning or loosing a battle. numbers don't decide the victor this time. you spend time to really think about your strategy without missing any action in the battlefield, requires some amount of concentration, though. its fun and entertaining. highly recommended to the fans of the genre. Also an excellent starter for those who are new to RTS.

But RUSE has brought it to a new level and fully utilized the limited buttons of the controller for an enjoyable game. calling an airstrike has never been much easier! Strategy and not the number of units, more often than not, decides the game. Highly recommended to the fans of the genre.

Fast paced strategy game - has Move controller support
Very well presented game. Nice story for the main campaign. Each chapter of the campaign is nicely broken up into objectives with checkpoints, so you aren't sitting around waiting for something interesting to happen.
It has Move controller support - but works really well with normal Dual Shock. I prefer DS control, but both are fine.

The best console RTS
I bought Ruse for the sole reason that it had large maps and was set in WW2. However i was blown away by the controls, that gave me simple ways to command units easily, it allowed me to really micro manage properly. The way strategy and ruse are SO important to gameplay, that it isn't about who has the strongest army wins. Simply amazing
