Makinami Mari is one of the characters that spiced things up in the second Evangelion movie. Her appearance opens a new path for the storyline, and provided another girl for figure sculptors to work on. She is the third figure in the PlugSuit series, place her together with Rei and Asuka, their bases are created to be fitted together.
She is sculpted loyally according to her character sketches by the original artist Sadamoto Yoshiyuki. Her smooth body lines, the glowing cables and that just slightly smug smile are exact 3D representations of the drawing. Collectors can take off her glasses for her occasionally to have a clearer glimpse of her expression.

Kotobukiya are the best
This Mari is an incredible piece.
It looks awesome in pictures and is well above awesome when you get it for real.
The pose is simple yet splendid and sexy. Plus this plugsuit is the best~ You can switch her glasses but I personally kept her glasses.
The wires were a bit hard to clip due to my fingers getting in the way of the others, but once everything is set into place, it is unbelievably gorgeous.

Kotobukiya captured mari's soul in this one
Yep, she is pretty and serene at the same time, but you can see in her eyes that she is indeed a mistery, the details on this figure are simply awesome, i really wasn't expecting this one to be so beautiful, i have the same series Asuka, and Mari just blows her away.
Her smile doesn't even make you think that she almost turned into a demon while controling the eva 2, this girl is just great, i love her, love this figure and love kotobukiya for making this one, she is just perfect.
