Best
Vivid graphic and smooth character movement, one of the reason why I love this game so much.

Good
Shooter game not really my favourite. But the great world & plot compensate for it.

Overhyped, critical praise not deserved...
Now, I'm a fan of FPS, make no doubt about that, but Resistance 2 is one of the worst games I have played on the PS3. Series such as Killzone 2/3, Halo, and Call of Duty do a better job at gunplay than this game, period.
In short, that's also the core fault of this game. Gunplay is not satisfying, the weapons have no sense of "oomph" or impact, and enemies are literally bullet sponges. Making matters worse is that this game is severely trial and error based, sometimes making the game frustrating even on normal difficulty. Large scale boss battles hardly feel that way and seem too simple to take down.
I know I'm coming off as a bit harsh, but this comes from a person who is a fan of shooters from all types of consoles and PC. This game falls well below other major blockbusters. However, it does have its redeeming features: the world is interesting, weapons have creative secondaries, and multiplayer can be a blast. All this, however, is overshadowed by its weak single player campaign.

Still a great shooter
This game still maintain compelling story and good FPS style. Play it in multiplayer if you want to see its real potential.
Thx play-asia for stocking it.
