description
The G Generation series is known for being inclusive. Gundams from the earliest TV series join hands with the Unicorn Gundam to bring you an intergalactic war. For the first time in the series' history, the game introduces a double story mode. In the World Tour Mode, gamers get some hands-on experience with the wars they have seen on TV. And in the World Core Mode, for every mission the gamers complete, they are one step closer to revealing the secrets in the world system.
Powerful secret Gundams are available of course, and the new master skill system becomes available. Gamers can execute one move that can turn the battlefield around to their favour. However, to fire it again, they will have to go back to the mother ship to recharge. Take it into account when tactics are planned.

they did a great job making things more streamlined and the fact they added in impact breaks for capturing some more advanced units while also adding in numerous units, im also a bit disappointed in the fact they removed transformation modes from some suits.

First experience! Amazing
This is my first game of this genre/SRPG involving Gundams.
It was fracking amazing.
Alright, thanks to those great folks who write walkthroughs and stuff, I was able to enjoy the game to it's full potential.
Gundam fans, buy it. Why? Read on.
Characters: So many of them available to recruit, I have that pink haired 00 chick (it's early in the morning, can't remember names) piloting the Infinite Justice from Seed and taking out aces like Graham, Zabine and Char lol
Units: So many of them again, from each show. Their SD form is adorable.
Gameplay/Story: Interesting way of setting up things. Take an event that occurs across the gundam verse like attacking a fortress or moon base :P. Toss the factions on the map. Have you as a third party coming in and changing the tide of the play, and kablam, another two factions join in, keep going and everyone turns against you. It's good war time fun.
Great game. Buy now Gundam fans. Too tired to keep on writing! Tummy hurts!

Some Intresting Changes
One of the first things I noticed was that many of the multihit attacks were nerfed, but on the off side I think many of the other changes were quite interesting. Although I kind of have mixed feelings about the Impact system since it has the potential to let someone skip through quite a large section of the tech tree if they manage to capture those special suits. But I do enjoy the aspects of being able to rotate my ships without wasting a turn, and the master skills are a nice way to even the odds in the event you find yourself in deep trouble.

Whilst there are numerous welcomed improvements to the gameplay as mentioned by one of the other reviewers, I don't think the game goes far enough in its evolution. In many ways it just feels like a tweaked and more polished version of World with additional units and characters thrown in. In my view, whilst the formula works and makes it the game that it is, it would be nice if they tried to do more with it. The new original storyline is also weak and uninteresting. Whilst I don't regret buying this title, I will likely sit out on the next one unless they really do something big to it.

Visible changes from G-Gene WORLD
Multi-hit missiles are nerfed (they do almost similar damage to one-time hit attacks), but the strength of projectile attacks are now at-par with melee. You are no longer limited to just slashing for maximum damage compared to WORLD. A feature is also installed where you can get 1 special item if you link your new game with a saved game of WORLD and G-Gene Portable, so a total of 2 extra items. Motherships can now be turned around without using up a turn, and we have the new "IMPACT" system. If you fulfill the requirements, your ally-NPCs in the stage will turn against you and you'll be forced to kill them for extra cash and exp. Overall a really good game.
