great game
gears of war is a terrific game but playing single player alone sometimes gets boring but playing online will keep gears of war inside your 360 until gears 2 comes =)

This game is Amazing almost year and half later it still is Number 1.

After playing this for longer....
I rented this and ethused about it, not sure if I got a glitchy copy but I then found the two choices at the start make no difference to what route you get.....and it didn't seem possible to replay from where you had left off, without just getting flooded with unkillable enemies.

But then I've discovered that I hate tactical shooters anyway, so take that into account. They aren't like House of the Dead and Operation Wolf and the first Doom.

Gameplay-Wise biggest game after Half LIfe 2
This game rocks. It has some of the most engaging firefights seen in video game history. Basically no other weapon can compare the visceral feel of lancer rifle. Play it to believe it !

Chainsawing people is just plain fun.
This game is a very gritty, dirty, viscereal and overall satisfying third person shooter with Halo3-equalling co-opness and Ai. Grab a bargain and chainsaw some locust.
