I got it in time for a Christmas present..

No bad surprises or what so ever.. I’ve not seen this product anywhere in our local specialized stores.. So I was happy to find it on this site at a good price (cheaper than buying new PC USB controllers)

I just don’t know yet if it does the job but I don’t see why not.. (We’ll know on Dec 25th)

I used it with the Xbox controller S and it worked. Even the rumble, which I was surprised about. Unfortunately this adapter is not plug & play - it requires drivers even for Windows XP (the floppy that came with it didn't work, but luckily, the drivers were downloadable from the official site). Also the default setting is set to "Flight Simulation" profile, so you have to change it to the proper profile if you want the controls to work well for a certain game. Overall, it's pretty cool being able to use the xbox controller for emulators and pc games. I bought it for $15.90, but right now it's $3 less (urrr) -- definitely worth it at that price. Better than buying a new controller for the PC if you already own an Xbox controller.

Great except...
This worked flawlessly with my Xbox controller but had some problems with my dance pad (by Naki).
