    One of my all time favourite!
    How much time has passed since 1988, when this game hit the market. It was the main cause for me to buy a Sega Master System!
    And once I found out that the Phantasy Star series was being re-published on the PS2, I indeed orderd a new PS2 !! Software sells hardware! Remember that, Sony! Don't be stupid to bann bitmap based games from the PS2 any longer. Phantasy Star Generation 1 (and Generation 2, of course) are worth being looked at to make people aware that the was a better Phantasy Star before the online version on Dreamcast, Cube and X-Box! For a better imagination what you might miss if you don't get this game:

    An Amazing Remake
    It corrects almost everything I didnt enjoy about the orginal and retains all the greatness and orginality.
    For such a low price its a must have.

    great remake
    I had never played this before, but now i see that I was missing out. This game is reaaly awesome even though the graphics are not quite as good as they could be.
