The story takes place at the end of the 20th century at a beautiful Japanese city by the sea, "Hirazaki". The main character, Katsuba Kyouji who led a peaceful and easy life, found himself the target of an unexplained attack from nowhere, and got bestowed with the fantastic ability to summon and control devils. At the same time, Katsuba gleamed of the evil plans of the horrifying other race. Maybe it is god's plan that Katsuba Kyouji met up with the female lead, Rei, who possessed the same wondrous ability. And so the two characters set on their hard and bloody battles to save the human race...
