Great adventure game
I was expecting a good adventure game but this game is much more. Amazing graphics, great story and characters, good soundtrack. Many reviews complained about the gameplay, sure it's not perfect but it's still above average.
A game worth buying !

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
What begins as treasure hunter Nathan Drake and journalist Elena Fisher's documentary on recovering the remains of Sir Francis Drake - a famed 16th century English privateer - leads to something bigger when they find not a corpse, but a diary inside his supposed coffin. Nathan, a fictional descendent of Sir Francis, alleges that old Drake faked his death (also fictional) to chase after the treasure of El Dorado without the Queen of England's knowledge, and that his diary will lead our heroes right to the gold. But things are never quite so simple. The unchartered island on which the treasure if located is crawling with pirates, whom you must take out in gunfights reminiscent of those in Gears Of War (Xbox 360 an PC). The gist of it is that Nathan must roll towards a wall and "stick" to it to take cover from oncoming fire, popping out to return the favour only while his adversaries are busy reloading. This tried-and-true system works, but is not as satisfying here, no thanks to the overly unrealistic manner in which enemies react to getting shot: they flinch dramatically, only to return to perfect fighting form almost instantaneously, as if you had been shooting them with rubber bands. The shooting gets better later on, when you gain access to one-hit, one-kill weapons like the Desert Eagle.

Nevertheless, I found myself drawn more towards the platforming portions of Unchartered: Drake's Fortune, which often had Nathan climb or shimmy along a series of ledges, grooves and other such wall deformities to get to initially inaccessible areas. What I like about these deformities is the way they blend in so naturally with the detailed and lush jungle environments. Although this means that you have to spend some time scrutinising your surroundings to locate climable ledges, the charming "hidden passage" mystique this evokes is well worth the trouble. Between the shooting, the platforming, and the Hollywood-quality narrative cinematics that tie the two disparate pieces of gameplay together, this 10-hour adventure will keep you hooked from start to finish. It may not be the platinum system-seller PlayStation fans had hoped to rival Xbox 360's Gears of War, but the compelling experience is certainly solid gold.

Ps3 strike's BACK!
Sure, many say that Uncharted is a bunch of cliched ideas, mainly from Gears of War... don't listen to them, this game IS AWESOME! Just buy the game or rent it. But you'll find it addictingly fun (never been addicted to a game since Spyro)
