Better than grand battle but not better than grand adventure This game has a little less characters than grand battle and they aren't chibi style, they are cool and large like they should be. However the graphics are lame and there aren't nearly as many stages or combos. However Grand adventure has alot more characters and twice as many stages. There are more moves and special mini games and level ups. This game is a waste of time when you could be playing grand adventure.

Far better than Grand Battle This One Piece game had just come to my notice, so I said to myself "You will not like the game", "Yes I will", "No you will won't!".Against my better judgement, I made myself buy the game. And in short, I knew as soon as I popped the game in and had my first try, this was the finest OP game I have ever played.
The game plays out like something very different from most games. At first I thought it odd, "Gomu Gomu No Storm, withouth Luffy's usual air in-take?"
"Not many characters?"
"Not many attacks"
No matter, I began my training. On a side note, nearly the entire game has only English menus.
Within five minutes I was hooked, from the design that, if desired, plays just like "Street Fighter" to the backgrounds etc. This was a 2D Street Fighter-One Piece game!
I loved the character designs as well as the fact they included "Ace" so I could die happy!
So, I really can not tell you how much I loved the game, I really can't.If you love 2D fighters and One Piece, this is the perfect game for you, hands down.Even better than "One Piece Grand Battle"
Grab this game!!!

A fun game... This is a fun game, but the loading times are kind of bad...
If you like One Piece or even just fighting games in general, I suggest one of the Grand Battle games.

Love it! Went straight to multiplayer the second I got it. My friends who don't watch the series think the game is great and have fun with it.
The opening is great, it uses Battle Royale's theme which was a great surprise. 13 characters in enough, would have liked to see Shanks though, but then again I rate games for the game and not how much it pleases a fan. Games made to please fans of series is shit to me. Unlocking things is a pain though. Some of the music isn't really fighting music, but for any game I turn the music off and put on my own from my computer. The game is fun though. My friends and I will go on for hours. Doing the Charge combo is great to get mad combos if you know what you are doing, and hard to block if done up-close(but possible). The buttons are responsive. The only problems I really have are that some things can be slow pace and the music for some of the stages. Other than that, I was glad with my purchase.

A crappy game... First, i want to say that i'm a big one piece fan. THIS GAME IS A JOKE ! The new combo system isn't usefull at all. A very bad realisation. The game is very slow, and the only goal is to charge your "combo" bar and press O or X rapidly. There is no real technic. Even for big fan this game sux.. Last thing some characters are not balanced vs others.
