It's A Sim Racer, Not An Arcade Racer
There are improvements compared to the first Shift game and overall it is a good game. If you prefer to get rough with your opponents, then you may not like this game. Winning races is more towards strategy and precision. You can't just simply barge your way to 1st place.

Shift 2 Unleashed's a violent and immersive racer driving experience like first Shift's but it not same because it have drive on night time it make you excited

pretty good racing sim
This not an arcade racer like most NFS games. This is much closer to racing sim game like Forza. The graphics are amazing. The races are REALLY intense. They are hard, and you have to drive very well, and realistically. I have picked up too many bad habits from arcade racers, and had trouble adjusting to this game. You can NOT be as "physical" with the car and other racers as crashes and loss of control is much more realistic here. This game has a great career mode.
It also has drifting, which is really cool, but I didn't really care for it. easy to pick up, hard to master.
I like arcade racers to do the impossible and prefer to drive my real car instead of car simulators to feel realistic speed and g-forces. if I stilled liked sim racers I would probably give this game 5 stars.
