One of the best ways to learn a new language is by listening to songs. Angela Aki is the lecturer in NHK's Songbook in English TV program. There she plays some beautiful music on the keyboard and shows her audiences the correct pronunciation of the English words.

Angela Aki's newest album Song Book contains ten songs she has sang in the TV program. Six of them are new recordings and two of them are newly included. All of them are covers of songs by famous artists such as Madonna, Janis Ian and Billy Joel.

洋楽の名曲を通して、生きた英語を学ぶ新ジャンルの英語教養番組「アンジェラ・アキのSONG BOOK in English」。番組内でアンジェラが披露する6曲に加え、これまでにカバーして来た洋楽日本語カバーの新曲&新録バージョンを収録(M-3,10,11を除く)。デビューから6年、彼女が創り続けた「オリジナル日本語詞による全曲ピアノ弾き語り ベスト・オブ・洋楽カバー」が登場。アンジェラのライフワークがここに。
