Sonic’s universe is thrown into chaos when a mysterious new power comes into force, creating ‘time holes’ which take Sonic and his friends back in time. Whilst there, Sonic runs into some very familiar characters from his past including a younger version of himself! Now they must team up to defeat their enemies, save their friends, and find out who is behind this diabolical deed.

The Sonic we all expected
It is the Sonic that all fans expected, Sonic is simply the best of all in recent years, an essential part of the PS3, Sonic careful with the golden age of sega, unique and fun gameplay, music that borders on excellence if you're a fan of Sonic you have to have if or, and not know who Sonic is the best opportunity of knowing the world Sonic, the bad, is not having an online mode to lengthen the life of the game and have not chosen more levels.

Better, but still a far cry from it should be
It seems like SEGA can't let go of 3D. Every Sonic game that has been in 3D has had strange jumping and lacking design.
Sonic Generations is a change for good. It returns to the 2D with 3D graphics. If the game had been 2D game with sprites and using the original Mega Drive physics as a basis, this game would've been much better. Sure, it looks nice, but it plays wonky.
It's a worth purchasing, but not at full price. It's one of those games that is a nice addition to a library, but if you have an craving for Sonic, go play the four original MegaDrive games instead.

A great plataformer-racing game, great graphics, astonishing sound and sharp gamerplay: Sonic never was better. A must for Sonic Fans.
