Way past cool.
These tracks bring back so much memories from my childhood in the 90's. New fans and old fans should add this to their collection. I still keep my Sonic games close to this day.

Belongs in every Sonic Fan collection
Every true Sonic fan must have this soundtrack in his/her CD collection. I can recommend this soundtrack to really everyone. The second CD contains demo versions of the soundtracks from Sonic the hedgehog 1 and 2 which I have never heard before. Additionally, the booklet is completely translated into english and contains an interview with Masato Nakamura the composer of the songs and a statement of Yuji Naka himself.
The CD is worth every penny.

Classic Sonic fans will want this
As someone who grew up playing the Genesis and loved the Sonic games, this soundtrack was a blast to listen to. Listening to all the classics is great and the new versions are amazing. Well worth the purchase.

A blast from the past
The original Sonic 1 and 2 on the megadrive were epic, and changed the way computer games were going to be forever. Speed control was broken, and you can't deny the sonic team did an amazing job on the game, and the music. It is fantastic to listen to these tunes, you find yourself humming along and picturing the zones you've no doubt played hundreds of times and know like the back of your hand, but you're going to go back and play them again. I love this CD and any Sonic fan will want to add this to their collection. And the price is very fair for a three disk set. Great buy!

A classy release
A great release for any fan of Sonic or video game music in general. Most of the tracks are like relaxing, happy sounding shopping mall music - and I mean this in the most positive way. It's got the 'casual yet stylish' kind of Japanese vibe.

This anniversary release comes housed in classy packaging, giving it a touch of elegance. This is how Sonic deserves to be treated.
