Excellent stick. Swapped my High Grade VF5 stick order for this and Im glad I did. Best arcade stick I have owned and about two thirds as big as the VF4 evo/SC2 PS2 sticks (and much more sturdy and proper expensive arcade feel to it).

Suitable stick for gamer !
It's a good stick and match with the one who familiar with the long stick. Very easy to do any combo, it worth to buy and dont hesitate to have it.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Fighting Stick
As I have stated in another review, I am non-competitive but nonetheless avid fighting game fan. I try to collect fightsticks for all of my favorite games. As a Blazblue fanatic, the purchase of a BBCSE stick was a no-brainer for me :).
The aesthetic design of the stick (and box) is gorgeous. The art work captures the spirit of the characters very well. The bluish-purple of the casing sets-off the artwork nicely. The physical design of the stick is (mostly) perfect. The lollipop stick works perfectly and is completely responsive. The buttons are also quite responsive--a bit more on the buttons in a second. The physical design is also perfectly sturdy.
There is really only draw-back, and it is very minor. I wish there was a bit more space for resting one's palms. It would make it a bit more comfortable.
Overall: This an excellent arcade stick, at least from my non-competitive perspective. An absolute must buy!

Well Worth It: Easy upgrades
If you want an arcade-like arcade stick, this is the one to go for. It's VERY easy to swap the buttons out for official SANWA buttons for the ultimate experience, and the buttons themselves are not that expensive (a few dollars per).
It's easily the best fighting stick I've ever owned, and it'll last me year. I only wish it worked for more consoles than just he PS3.

HORI Real Arcade Pro Stick 3 (Tekken 6 Design)
So Happy that I managed to get this fighting stick!! Great design, great weight, perfect button positions, and accurate during gameplay! I could not ask for a better stick!!!

Not for the feint of heart
I bought this HRAP 3 T6 when it was half price cause I knew I had to mod it.
I replaced the very poor HORI-buttons with Sanwa-buttons (-1) and thought I'd change art while I'm at it since I don't play Tekken.
This is where it got complicated due to the stick/button layout don't seem to be the standard HRAP3 so now it lies in pieces in a drawer.
It's a standard good stick with the JFL joystick from Sanwa but the buttons MUST be replaced.

Got my stick a few months ago now and feel safe to say that it is fantastic stick.
Its a solidly built stick weighing close to 4kg which makes it perfect when your mashing out of grabs on ST. It won't move at all and feels very secure when placed on your lap. The stick is of course sanwa and is very responsive. It has a square restrictor plate which takes abit to get use to but is worth it in the end especially if your using charge characters because you don't have to fiddle around trying find d/b all the time. Only downside is that the stick height feels short but thats just personal preference.
The buttons are of ok quality. They feel spongee compared to sanwas but are still very responsive.
Extras are nice. Has turbo features and a switch to assign the stick between using either of the analog sticks or the d-pad. Usb cord is relatively long, I think close to 3 metres. Although I do feel the placement of the turbo button above the stick is annoying as sometimes I accidentally run my left hand across it while executing/mashing on the stick which turns it on.
Overall very good stick! A hundred times better than the HORI fighting stick 3. Works great on PC too. Definitely worth its weight in gold.

HRAP 3 - THE Stick for ALL Fighting Games!

Stick is sanwa, which is nice. Buttons? Not so much. BUT redeeming factor is that it comes with quick disconnects, so buttons are super mod friendly and you'll swap the buttons in for better ones with little to no effort (still at your own risk though).
Price is a little on the premium side, but it kinda is well worth the money if you're into licensed editions, robust and sturdy design and don't mind the buttons being just standard (by default).

No complaints whatsoever with this item and if you're lucky enough to have a backwards compatible ps3 you can play your favorite fighters and shmups with no problem. Highly recommended for blazblue fans.

The Hori Real Arcadestick Pro 3 or HRAP3 works best for the Tekken platform of fighting. The stiffness of the stick is perfect for doing moves properly in the game. It's not loose where some players would tend to improperly input the right command. It greatly emulates the arcade feel, and with friends playing at home arcade style, it's like having the arcade at home. :)

Top-notch BlazBlue fan stick
For those, who are seriously into the fighting games, especially the one called BlazBlue, this is really a must. Apart from design, that is surely amazing, the stick provides very responsive control - which is a distinguishing feature of all HORI Arcade Sticks. The only thing that some may find displeasing is lack of quick button disconnects in this model, that makes it a bit harder to mod this stick with custom parts. But as for myself, I find this stick wonderful as it is.

Really great stick to use right out of the box. Excellent 'clicky' and responsive joystick. Buttons are quite resoponsive. Big, heavy robust aracde feeling to the joystick base; feels great playing on your lap or on a table.
Perfect for SF4, Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Tekken 6.
Also quite straight forward to modify this with genine arcade parts. I've swapped out my buttons myself, no soldering required.

So this is my first arcade stick, being pretty noob on the subject but I'm in love with it so far. I'll note some useful information about the PS3 version I bought.

As far as I noticed the stick is a 4-way, plays nice and tight even letting it spring back. The buttons are VERY responsive and obviously don't click, careful when even leaning a finger on them; the spacing between the stick and buttons feels fine for me too.

Good purchase
The HRAP3 is a quality product made of a Sanwa JLF and Hori buttons. Although the Hori buttons featured are not true arcade parts, they are easily replacable via quick disconnects. For its price, the HRAP3 is a great purchase whether you use it out of the box or for modding. It also has access to the PS Home button, and also allows switching the stick for dpad control. The only disadvantage it has is that it's bulky and takes up quite a bit of space.
The HRAP3 is a quality product made of a Sanwa JLF and Hori buttons. Although the Hori buttons featured are not true arcade parts, they are easily replacable via quick disconnects. For its price, the HRAP3 is a great purchase whether you use it out of the box or for modding. It also has access to the PS Home button, and also allows switching the stick for dpad control. The only disadvantage it has is that it's bulky and takes up quite a bit of space.

I have gotten this stick for a while now and I have to say it's an awesome stick. I've tried many others but they were either too light or the positioning of the buttons weren't that good. Hori did a fine job on the button placement although the joystick could've been spaced out from the buttons a little more. Overall the quality is great and I have no complaints on it.
If you can find this stick I highly recommend it.

Great Stick

Solid & High Quality Joystick
After playing upon a friend's Hori stick i ordered one and found it top quality from the start. A very solid stick with a very high quality build, i use this stick for playing Soulcalibur 4and it does n 't disappoint.
The stick is the Jedi light sabre of the joystick community, i recommend if your serious about joysticks.

Well first of all i received my fightstick really fast,thank you very much to Play-asia for fast shipping,great service all in all.the joystick is great out of the box,excellent design and color,i believe it has a sanwa joystick.unfortunately the buttons are soldered but i don't mind because i feel it very responsive as it is(for those who like to mod their joysticks).Now i can do every move with ease in SFIV and other fighting games,i can hardly wait to try it in blazblue!!!

I recently ordered one of these sticks. This is a great stick and feels as if Hori ripped a control panel right out of an arcade cabinet and shipped it to me. Very good build quality. In short, it has a robust and genuine feel that is just like those used in arcades here, which was exactly what I was after. The *only* aspect I may change is perhaps adding a slightly stronger stick spring, although I am quite used to the relaxed action of the Hori spring now. Plays and feels great and was as simple as plugging into my USB port and firign up SSF2HDR. I'm yet to try it on my PC with emulators, though given that it is USB I expect there to be no dramas.

Saw this on sale and couldn't pass up the incredible price, thank you Play-Asia. Just received mine, no substitute for Hori unless you build your own. Feels solid and you know it'll last. Once I put in the Sanwa buttons, modify the stick spring and drop in an octagonal gate. :-) it'll be perfect!
