Nice gameplay but it's quite short. Beside, when I received it, the seal was damaged (torn apart), I don't know if this resulted from the packaging process or something else.

Really Bad
I thought this game was one of the worst I've ever played. Mainly due to the story, or lack thereof.
It's just unbelievably short. I completed the game on normal difficulty in about 6 hours. There's only about 3 levels! Compared to the first game, this is just like a DLC. I think it's disgraceful really. Such a lack of effort put in. No doubt there will be plenty of very expensive DLCs to go with it. The gameplay is fun, but I was genuinely shocked when it ended. The Degobah 'level' consists of a 1 minute walk (no enemies or anything) followed by a 3 minute cut scene, in which Yoda appears for about 20 seconds. The 'story' also ruins the whole aura of coolness around Darth Vader, and is so shit generally. I'd rather play Jedi Knight any day over this. Such a shame.

This game can be quite good at times. The stage-long, multi-tiered showdown against the skyscraper-high Gorog is guaranteed to take your breath away. And the graphics are beautiful, but in many other areas the game fails to impress e.g. gameplay repetitive, level design linear, and enemies variety/AI, contrived plot. At only four to five hours.

The story as always is excellent but far too short and belting the suitcases out of the same enemies again and again can get a tad old but nevertheless fun. If you're like me and love Star Wars and if its more of the same you're looking for then FU2 is for you :)

As much as many seemed to claim that the first TFU wasn't that good a game, I did enjoy it on the story and game play level. Here was to hoping that if a sequel was produced (if possible with how either side ended in the first), it would improve not just gameplay wise, but story wise would make sense.
Sadly, only one part of that was (mildly) fixed and that was gameplay. Star Wars is all about the story everyone enjoys with being in a galaxy far far away, but when the story is as poorly executed as this in such a cash cow fashion; you can expect to draw negative attention. Even as casual fans, you'd scratch your head on why it turned out like this; hardcore fans: can't even go there.
As a budget title (which it is at the time of this review); it's alright to inspect at your own risk; but as a full price title way back when, it certainly doesn't deserve its credits worth. This game can be seen as 'the dark side' of which jedi would surely tell you to 'not give in to it', I'd advise as much

The Force may be overpowering!
The original Force Unleashed was praised for how it connects to the movies, this is sadly lost in the sequel (no spoilers). However, the set pieces are quite spectacular and the player starts the game with most force powers, so there is no need to wait until you feel like an uber Jedi. Some people may be put off by the relative ease of the game, though for me and perhaps others, it's nice sometimes to simply chill out and wade through entire legions of the emperors best troops. From this perspective I found the game very enjoyable throughout, especially considering the game is less frustrating than before as the controls handle better than before.
I believe I finished the game within 7 hours, this alongside how easy the game is, not to mention the repetitive nature of combat, may be a game breaker for some. Yet for me, I thought the experience was exciting and a good use of the licence, even though it abuses the canon somewhat.

I was very anxious to play this game, since the first Force Unleashed was a great game, with good controls, but with a story better than the new trilogy. But i'm very disapointed about this sequel. The controls are ok, but the scenery and enemies are repetitive, the game falls shorts (only 4 different screens, 2 times on the same scenery - with the same enemies). The story is bland, there is no story develpoment here. Everything that the first game has accomplished, this one destroyed. Stay away from it.

Short yet satisfying Star Wars game
Being a Jedi is everyones dream and this game doesnt let down. Though most of the machanics of the game remains the same from the first that made it fun to play, the game has some dissapointments but if you are a Star Wars fan (who isnt?) then that won't bother you. Insanely fun game with excellent controls. Like other reviewers have stated, the game is a bit too short, but the replay value is pretty good. If you played the first game, you will LOVE this one even more.

Fun Game
A fun game if you like jumping around electrocuting and slashing storm troopers to death. Graphically the game is quite nice aswell. My only problem with the game is with its length, you can finish the game quite quickly and the story isn't exactly impressive.

Excellent graphics.
Saber attacks are smoother and more precise.
Superb cinematics.
However, short storyline. The game ends before u know it. Gameplay is quite easy even in unleashed mode. Number of level could have been more. More lightsaber duels could make the game more fun.

Great game with good storyline which will fill in the gaps of story line between Episode III and Episode IV. I personally always wonder how did Darth Vader kill of all the Jedis. This will help solve the mystery. For fans of Star Wars, they will appreciate the storyline.
Graphically, the game is presented in HD, the gameplay are variable and is different in comparison to SWTFU which is more engaging. Worth your penny.

Great sequel for star wars fans!
It really isnt the hugely improved game that everyone had anticipated, but it is still a great game for Star Wars fans. If you really enjoyed the first one, you will enjoy this one too.

The fully voiced lines from the actors are well delivered, and, unsurprisingly, the weapon and environmental sounds are good.
The touch controls work well, the combat is fun, and the visuals are good for a DS game. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of 3D cutscenes like there were in first Force Unleashed for DS
The biggest drawback is that the game is really short.

A bit short buy enjoyable
A must have for fans of the first game, this game continues the story of the first one and doesn't let the player go until the very end. It may not be on par with the first game storywise but the gameplay has been improved and the level designs are breathtaking!
