A tiny step forward in MMOs
Compared to other MMOs this is a step forward - not a massive step - but it does the little things right e.g. maps, professions etc. Im into my fifth week of playing and have been on it 24-7. I would recommend it to anyone into Bioware or MMOs. The regular cut scenes and voice acting is excellent. The combat is good. You do start to skip the speaking for smaller quests but its been built to let you skip if u want. The classes are great. The Star Wars lore is engaging and just when u think questing equals grindy something happens to get you excited. It is like other large MMOs but you dont need a guild - you and your npc companion - or you and one mate - can complete it. Also it has a large development team so it will evolve over time. Ive played four of the classes and each one has felt different and i have a massive man crush on my wookie. A must for Star Wars geeks, Bioware fanboys, or anyone who wants a WoW type experience without the "ive been playing for six years" attitude. I can see myself playing this game for the next 18 months. Oceanic servers have been problem free. The pvp ive had fun in, but, not played enough. There is criticism that there is not enough level cap content so pvp is best started when you reach the level cap. Fun - cant stop playing it. The narrative is awesome. I care about my toons.

Fun and Buggy
This game is good if you are into the lore and adventure of Star Wars. I do have a problem will the game bugs that can sometimes make the game unplayable. The amount of lag on the servers makes it impossible for me to PvP.Some servers also report an imbalance of Imperial to Republic players so the Imps get thrashed by the numbers in PvP.
While listening to the voice acting is very cool, it should have been restricted to the class quest line as after the novelty wears off, many players skip through and do not listen to it.
I love a SW enviornment but I wish the game mirrored Star Wars Galaxies. This is a base game however and many players are waiting to see if patch 1.2 fixes many of the problems.

Must Buy !
I bought this game last week. and play every day very fun. you will love this game if you are a fan of Bioware or love every RPG's Bioware. I enjoy this much more than RIFT. All of the quest is providing full of voice and movie !. The price is worth itself.
