One of the best text adventure games to date
Chaos;Head put us in the shoes of a MMO-addict in an adventure filled with mystery, conspiracy and delusional fantasies. Steins;Gate brings us another adventure in the same world, this time led by a protagonist that's got a bad, bad case of chu-ni-byou (role-playing as an imaginary character in real-life).

description
An accidentally made time machine is going to start the third world war. But before most people are killed, the two ladies closest to Rintaro might be meeting their deaths. When Rintaro and Mayuri go to a conference, they stumble upon the body of Kurisu. Alarmed, Rintaro sent a mail back to his friend.
However, he has no idea that the mail reached the past, and time is changed. Kurisu is alive in this timeline, and from her, he learned of a group called SERN. SERN will do anything to gain control of the time machine. To thwart them, Rintaro has to travel back time repeatedly and lie to a lot of people.
Because if he doesn't, the girls he's closest to are going to die again, and this time, no time machines are going to help them.

Great story, visual and music
A very gripping story w/ sci-fi elements and good voice acting. For those who enjoy text based adventure games, Steins;Gate is not to be missed. I prefer Steins;gate as it is not as gory as Chaos;Head.
There has been a PC port since the release of the 360 game w/ additional contents. For those who have bought the original, they don't have to miss out as the extra contents is sold as DLC for 400MS pts on Xbox Live as well.

Awesome game
A masterpiece.
Even those who usually do not play these sort of games, should play this one.
It's been a very long time this I've enjoyed a game this much, and the scenario just kept me hooked until finish.
At this point, this game is probably the best ADV game to exist on consoles, and I recommend this game to anyone who knows japanese and enjoy a deeper story, than a typical videogame.

Finished Steins;Gate True Ending and here is my review
Please , note that i will not spoil the True Ending details.
The game starts off where you are to answer Cell phone calls (Red Icon) & respond to Text msgs on the cell phone. The text msgs have to be responded to asap or they will be voided where you can not respond back to.
The main character is a scientist and has friends that are curious of the time machine that he has made . A later part in the game , a friend turned enemy wants to stop the main character from using the time machine and violence breaks out . This forces them to go back into time and stop that from happening again .
Though , i will not say anything else , as that is when the 7 endings will take affect afterwards , depending on the Chapter that the particular ending will occur.

Steins;Gate brings us another adventure in the same world, this time led by a protagonist that's got a bad, bad case of chu-ni-byou (role-playing as an imaginary character in real-life).
Time travel is at the heart of the story here, and while you'll recognize many of the elements from other books/flicks surrounding the issue, the impressive voice acting, solid script and art that matches the atmosphere extremely well combines into a gripping experience.
Frequent references to 2ch memes exist, as do sometimes overly complex physics theories are present as integral parts of the storyline. Not recommended for those unsure of their Japanese comprehension, but for the JP-fluent, this is a must-have.
