Not bad. Not bad at all.
It is not perfect, but I think both Galaxy games are going to pass to the history of the best games ever. So having the soundtrack of one of them is just great.
It is a pitty that the soundtrack CDs did not include some of the great soundtracks from Galaxy 1, that is why I do not give this 5 stars.
It is a must buy for Nintendo fans and collectors.
Buy it while you can!

Not as good as the first Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack
I remember playing this game and thinking the game wasn't as good as the 1st, but I could have sworn the music was better. But now that I hear the music by itself and no gameplay, the soundtrack is actually pretty dull. A lot of the music sounded like the the first game's soundtrack and the music new in this game really didn't seem to inspiring. It does have good music, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was a masterpiece like Super Mario Galaxy 1 soundtrack was. The good song in this game is the Melty Monster Galaxy song. I don't know what it is, but Nintendo always seems to know how to make fire stage music very well.
