description
One of the most acclaimed titles from the Tales series, the depth of story and magnificent world of Tales of the Abyss® sets it far apart from other games in the RPG genre. Now it makes its debut on the Nintendo 3DS with full 3D support and use of the dual screens to bring players even closer to the action.
Tales of the Abyss® tells the story of Luke fon Fabre, sole heir to a family of aristocrats, as he is suddenly thrust into the outside world on an epic adventure. Naïve and spoiled by years of isolation, Luke struggles to learn of friendship, sacrifice, duty and of choice. With the fates of many in his hands, Luke's actions could ultimately save the world or bring about its very destruction.

Classic Gaming Moved to the 3DS
If you've played the PS2 version you won't find much of a difference, but the classic fun and amazing storyline from the original is as solid as ever.
Personally, the 3D effect is a terrible addition for me, as it only hurts my eyes, so I was forced to play in 2D mode throughout the game - but that by no means made it an unenjoyable experience.
Tales fans may want to grab this title on 3dS for the replay, while others may be opposed to having the same game once again - but one thing is for sure; if you haven't played it before, you should definitely not miss out on this classic.

Fairly decent port
Simply put, its a pretty good port of an alright ps2 game.
You're not gaining anything fantastic here. The price is insane at $80 for a handheld game also.
Graphics come off as better due to the smaller screen also.
Buy it on ps2 if you've already got one and save yourself the money.
Also 3DS being region locked is the dumbest fucking thing ever.
