features
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword boasts the most realistic sword combat of any game to date, turning every encounter into a challenge of both brains and brawn. Wii MotionPlus technology accurately translates the angle of every sword slice, effectively putting Link's blade in the player's hand. Analyzing enemy attack and defense tendencies and counteracting with precise swings of the sword provide a satisfying experience that blends puzzle-solving with a new and distinctly unique combat system
- Explore a massive, multilayered world that seamlessly blends soaring exploration in a sea of clouds with intense ground-based adventuring that blurs the line between the main world and traditional Zelda dungeons. Link soars through the skies on the back of a noble bird and dives beneath the clouds to the continent below in an epic quest that lays the foundation for the events in the critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Prepare for intense puzzle-solving as only The Legend of Zelda games can deliver. Exploration of the forests, volcanoes and deserts requires players to think on their feet as they solve puzzles, overcome obstacles and escape deadly traps. Once they find their way to each dungeon, they are confronted by even more puzzles guarded by fiendish enemies
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword redefines the traditional Zelda framework and introduces an arsenal of items, upgrades and rewards unlike any game in the franchise to date. The adventure guides players into, out of and back to dungeons and areas they've already completed. Along the way, Link gathers a massive inventory of peculiar items and resources that can be used to upgrade many of his weapons and equipment
description

Best Zelda? Yes.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword brings a lot of new and old things to the table. While it still has a "Zelda-feel" to it, the progression and gameplay itself has been slightly changed which makes it one of, if not, the best Zelda game ever made.
Firstly, 1:1 sword combat is the best idea that Nintendo has ever come up with and it marks a new milestone for the franchise. After playing Skyward Sword, I didn't want to play any other Zelda games without this 1:1 combat, made available thanks to the Wii Motion Plus. This combat offers so deep tactics and you can't mash buttons to win your way out of the victory anymore.
On the visuals side, it is the best graphics on Wii, period. I wasn't sure if this water painting-esque art style would be suitable for Zelda but surprisingly, it fits very, very well with the game's atmosphere and tone.
Music is one of greatest thing Skyward Sword has to offer. It has almost full orchestrated music that Nintendo fans have been wanting and waiting for ever since before Twilight Princess came out. If you are fan of the franchise, classic themes that has turned into fully orchestrated tracks will blow you away.
So what's different about Skyward Sword? Well, first off, you're not saving a princess anymore but your old childhood friend from, not Ganondorf, but from a new flamboyant antagonist named Ghirahim. Also, instead of having an open-world field to run around in, it has changed into sort of like dungeons. To those who are skeptical about this, you can still explore the skies with your giant bird, Loftwing.
Skyward Sword has easily been one of best experiences I had in video games and this is a must-buy for any Wii owners. This will take you up to 50 hours to complete 100% and trust me, you'll be wanting to finish it completely because it is THAT great.

Zelda (Controller Bundle) Edition
WOW I must say thank you to Play-Asia for actually getting their hands on this special bundle otherwise I would have never been able to get a golden controller where I live. The game is typical Zelda fair, you start out as a teenager then become the greatest hero of the land. This build up along wit the rich landscape is what makes these games great. Precise controls using a motion based scheme; the story is wonderful and as always Zelda's music is GREATNESS a must buy if you own a Wii.

actually...not best Zelda ever.
The game is good. But if you're an experienced Zelda fan you will find it lacking in many ways. Dungeons and bosses are way too easy and the gameplay is too linear. Music could've been better and several monsters designs as well.
The story is incredible, though, and it's why it's worth playing it. Otherwise it was too repetitive, too short and lacking in some ways. The battle system is awesome as well but, for me, Nintendo focused more on the controllers than actual gameplay for several stuff.
It's good, but it could've been better and it's most definitely not the best TLoZ ever :'). Still, you cannot miss things like the birth of the Master Sword and all that. The story is why I do recommend it.

Best zelda ever!
It's the best zelda i've ever played.. I like the colorful art as it's a mix of wind waker and twilight princess. The control is really solid as well, the absence of the IR is certainly welcome! All in all, best zelda game!

Zelda indeed
As always, Nintendo delivers a masterpiece when it comes to Zelda games. This time around you have to forge the mastersword and adquire the triforce to help, not save, Zelda.
The graphics are unlike anythig else on the wii, the motion controls are intuitive and the story keeps adding twists and turns and never gets dull.
This is a must-have for any zelda fan or anyone with a wii.

THE BEST GAME FOR ADVENTURE FANS!!!
I have never played a game with this quality in ages. All the elements that make a good adventure game are here.
- Story
- Character
- Gameplay
- Design
- Music
It's a stellar game ,better than most of the game out there. I have PS3, PC and Wii, and Zelda Skyward Sword is the best console I've ever had so far. I'm not a Nintendo fanboy , I also love FPS junk , but Zelda is on another different level. It's fresh, unique, intuitive, and has that star quality.
Thanks playasia for make it available :)

Already Critically Acclaimed
As far as I played, this game delivers everything a Zelda game should, and more: It's not only the best Zelda ever made (it may even surpass Ocarina of Time, yes) but also the best game on Wii, for using the motion control in a thoroughly and new form. Also, I was really glad to see the beginning of the Legend of Zelda story - as it seems to be the case - where we can see how Zelda and Link met and how their relationship through time and dimensions developed.

The Legend of Zelda is going Skyward
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword contains everything and action adventure needs to have and more, and it makes the franchise soar to new heights.
Basically, the game revolves around a swing direction system. With the required Wii motion plus the sword controls are much more precise, and represent what the player actually does.
In order to succeed in battle the player has to watch enemies and attack them ont heir weak spots, such as where they are not guarding, where their armor is thinner, or in their soft spots. Aside from sword combat, there are several new and old gadgets to work with, helping best enemies and solving puzzles in the newly designed dungeons.
The overworld consists in 3 main land areas and the sky. Each of this main land areas work like a big scale dungeon that requires different visits to get to everyplace in it.
The story is probably the best told in the series yet, making it interesting and keeping that need to get further into the game to see what the characters are going to tell next.
This game took me around 50 hours to get everything, and after beating it there is a surprise and reason to play it again, so its completelly worth the money... plus, the first batch of the game production comes with a 45 minutes sountrack CD with 8 different songs played by The Legend of Zelda Symphony Orchestra, and I gotta say, every song is awesome.
In short, this is one of the best games on the Wii, not to be missed by any Wii owner.
