Cloud, Lightning, Tidus and the Final Fantasy cast are super deformed. This time they are not using blades and guns to defeat their enemies, they are going to use their sense of rhythm. Theatrhythm is a new branch of the franchise. It contains the most exciting, most romantic and most beautiful tracks from the series.
Players can control up to four characters during the Battle Mode. Tap the screen, slide your stylus across the pad, trace the arrows and hold your note. The better sense of rhythm you have, the more damages you can do to your opponents. In the event mode, gamers tap to the beat of the music and enjoy the memorable scenes.

A great homage to the Final Fantasy series!

Surprisingly good
I'm not very fond of rhythm games, but this being based off Final Fantasy music certainly got me interested.
Having said that, surprisingly, it only took a couple hours for me to get totally addicted to this game, hehe. It's quite entertaining and will please most fans of the series.
You should definitely give it a shot, specially if you are into rhythm games.

Old School Nostalgia
I'm pretty sure at least part of the reason I'm a big fan of this game is because it brings back so many memory of times when Final Fantasy was still amazing rather than just another series as it had with more recent entries. Decent gameplay, enjoyable and addictive, music is of course top notch. Recommended for any fans of Final Fantasy music.

TFF is nostalgic, challenging, exciting, and addicted. you want to replay it over and over again, just to get the perfect score. a must have for every Final Fantasy fans

Absolutely stunning
I bought this because it was cheap on Play Asia. I'm a big FF fan, as well as a huge rhythm game fan so it's no surprise that I am head over heels about this game. The rhythm mechanics are crisp (made me miss my EBA days) and the music arrangements and sound quality are first class. Hook your 3DS up to your stereo and bliss out.

Nostalgic
Theatrhythm is a truly unique and fun trip down memory lane, more so since I have been a long time fan of Final Fantasy. A must-buy for fans of the series, especially since the game uses the original 8-bit-esque music for the classic entries in the series, rather than the soundtrack from the remastered versions.

Slick rhythm game.
I'm familiar with the music of Final Fantasy much more than the actual games. Luckily, that's not much of a problem for this entry! The randomly generated battle cries are so charming.

Finally Fantastic Again
The 3d is throwaway, noone new will be brought to the series and the little sprite characters are pretty annoying. There are quite a few things wrong here but it doesn't stop this from being the best Final Fantasy game since FFIX. A nostalgia fest for long time fans, the game will have you reliving all the great memories of the first 8 games of the series (as long as you skip 8). So many memories.
My main problem is that having such a nostalgia fest just reminds me about how much the FF series has been screwed up since it came to the ps2 and beyond. Well, as long as I stick to this, I can still imagine Sqaure Enix have some idea of what they're doing.

A really interesting use of the Final fantasy property. I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered this, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's great to see the video cut-scenes from the games in 3D.

addictive nostalgic game
I love final fantasy games, and I think that might be a must for enjoying this rhythm game. The movies are great for reliving your favorite moments from the series. Initially it seems like there isn't that much to do with the game, but there's quite a lot of content to unlock (and buy as DLC), not to mention the different difficulties for each song. I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would, and for me the chaos temple offers quite a challenge.

Great for fans, but does not stand tall as a music game. Gameplay however is innovative, but on other hands it also feel as if they were trying hard to be different, then just being good.

Awesome fun
If you're a FF fan, this is an absolute must! The songs are really great and brings back the good ol' memories.
The game itself is divided into 3 types of difficulty. The first one is really easy, the second one is alright, and the most fun is absolutely in the most challenging mode.

A very forgiving music game coupled with all the songs you remember. Don't let the cash-in appearance fool you, there's 26 characters to level with abilities set for each one, and a random stage generator means there'll always be new stages to master.
