Better than Hori
This case is better than Hori's version. The Hori case with the system in the corner has about a centimeter gap going both vertical and horizontal. This has almost no gap vertically and a much smaller gap horizontally. The top half is deep enough to house the game cases that are made by the same company. The Hori case couldn't even though the 3DS version was able to house it, the XL version just wouldn't close without risk of smashing the top screen. Though the case still has flaws. There is a strong odor that is the same as a fresh tennis ball. The ripple design of the case goes through into the inside, so instead of a flat smooth surface it ripples like the outside. The flap in the middle has 4 slots to hold games but they're upside down and would likely fall out.

Great case
This case is very similar to the Hori hard case for the 3DS XL, but it has a wavy texture on the outer shell instead of being flat. It also protects greatly against accidental drops. Great case, I'm rarely disappointed with Keys Factory products.
