The genuine Sony stand is worth it, but god it's expensive to get one these days!

Not cheap but worth it
Being a genuine Sony product it's not as cheap as some of the third party stands available, however I read a few horror stories of PS3s being wobbly and knocked over with the non-genuine ones and I really didn't want to risk it. I'm glad I didn't because its well worth the extra money - it's absolutely rock solid when attached, such that you wouldn't even realise that the PS3 was meant to lay flat. Also frees up a lot of space. Well worth it!

I love the stand, it's an official sony product so the quality is great. It;s great for those who want the slim standing vertically for that nice look. Also it's good for freeing up space.

A Must have accessory.
Quite frankly the PS3 slim is sleek and slim and so it isn't very stable when kept vertical. But this stand from SONY is all that it needs to complete the look. The stand has a glossy finish and sponge padding for the ps3 to sit. The locking mechanism is also very sturdy. It fits perfectly and adds a touch of class to the PS3.
