Weekly Movie/Music update: Around 35 new J-Pop, Anime, Soundtrack & Movie releases - Ayumi Hamasaki - You Were / Ballad, Megan Fox - Jennifer's Body & more!
Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 35 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.
After a series of electrifying songs that pushed the boundaries of Ayumi Hamasaki's voice, You Were, the Jpop Queen's newest single contains two songs that are warm and sweet. You Were is the theme song of Disney's Tinker Bell and the Moon Stone and the B-side song Ballad is the theme song of Soukyuu no Subaru, a historical drama that features the Qing Dynasty.
Both songs are renditions of a fantasy, while You Were is a fairy tale paradise, Ballad has an oriental taste.
The CD+DVD version has both music video clips of You Were and Ballad. Type A contains the making of footage of You Were and Type B has the footage on Ballad.
After the heart warming songs, let's watch something thrilling, something sexy. Featuring Megan Fox of Transformers fame, Jennifer's Body is fully charged with with terror, blood and appeal. Megan Fox plays the demonic femme fatale, hell bent on enticing weak willed men to their deaths and wreak havoc on the human world.
