Awesome controller
Really good controller. It feels very well built and works perfectly for high level SSBM play. It feels more stable than the older purple controllers, and that's saying a lot! Watch out with overseas taxes though, I have to play an extra 35 euro!

This controller was an amazing buy. It is very responsive and very comfortable to play extended hours with. The buttons are also on a good quality spring so they can withstand a lot of play. I am very satisfied with this controller and would recommend it to anyone looking for a controller.

Most comfortable controller EVAH!
So yeah, I love the GC controller, and I have 3 Platinum ones, but when I saw that there were new controllers and made in white to match the Wii, I had to buy one.
It surprised me that the wire is 25% longer than the older controllers that came with the Gamecube.
Best games to play with this awesome controller: Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii, if you wanna be a pro in those, you gotta play with a GC controller!

Nothing beats the original Gamecube controller when it comes to response, comfort and quality. The longer cable is very useful when you don't want to be too close to the screen.
I wanted a second controller next to my original Jet Black one, and this is a perfect match.

Same as the normal cube controller. It has a nice long cord and feels good. I agree with those who think its one of the best game pads ever designed. Took a while to get the controller in Canada but it was worth it.

Its SICK!!! What I love about it the most is how LONG the wire is!
I can now sit back at a distance and relax knowing I wont pull the connector out of the wii! ^_^

The Gamecube controller is the most comfortable, durable, functional, and well designed controller I have ever used! Now, the controller has a 10 foot cord! If you still play Gamecube, buy a few of these! I ordered 2 of them! I got them to replace my orange Gamecube controller which was finally starting to show wear and tear on it (after 9 years of excessive gameplay). That orange controller took 2000 hours of Smash Brothers Melee and continuous snaking in F-Zero GX and still works very well, I just needed to replace it for tournaments to get something more reliable. The bottom line is, unless you intentionally try to break these controllers, they will never go bad! I only wish Nintendo would continue to support the Gamecube controller everywhere.

the pad you've got to have!
thank you play asia and thank you nintendo for this pad everybody has got to have for a wii, because it's white :) it's longer and it's official! In france we have the choice between: bying a crap from big ben with a stick that doesn't work very well and not very long time! or bying this pad with a very high cost! so thank you play-asia for this third possibility! it's been long to wait but I have now no regrets! ^^

I picked up one of these bad boys to go with my white wii. Gotta love the gamecube controller, It's so comfortable in the hands. The white looks awesome and like others mentioned the cord is noticably longer. If you have a pile of gamecube games and wanna have an original nintendo gamecube controller for super smash or if your controller is beaten up...You can't go wrong, I even love the cool japanese box it comes in.

When I pressed the L and R buttons for the first time, they resisted in a slightly jerky, quite uncomfortable way at first. However, this is normal for a new controller. After a few hours of playing, the R and L buttons can be pressed precisely and smoothly.
I'm very happy with this controller, I bought two and I recommend then to any Gamecube and Wii player.

The Only Place I Buy GameCube Controllers From
I have purchased this controller for both of my sons annually as XMas gifts for the last 4 years in a row. They are both hard-core, heavy-use gamers/users that travel and compete in tournaments all year long. The Play-Asia controllers are the ONLY ones that they will use. NO point in buying from ANYWHERE ELSE!! Although last year's controller still works, a NEW controller is an always ready BACKUP that like knowing is available. They are well worth the price!!

Excellent, authentic and awesome
The GameCube controller without a doubt is my favourite controller of all time. The original had one major draw back though, it's puny 1.5m cable. This release though fixes that by extending the cable to 3m. It's still the same awesome controller though and with that white finish is now very aesthetically pleasing. 5 stars!

I have an white ntsc wii and get this controller to play some old classics of nintendo gamecube (mario sunshine, zelda wind waker, zelda four swords etc.) and it's just works perfectly. The controller comes in white color (same as wii), have long cable lenght that even if your lcd tv and your wii is far from your couch you can get the controller in hands! by the way don't you guys forget to buy the gamecube memory card here at play-asia because it's necessary to save your progress on gamecube games (gamecube games can't save data into wii memory blocks).

4 times I've tried to order this thing... All with the right picture... The right specs.... But the wrong product. It made me so happy to finally get the real thing this time. It's amazing, perfect condition, extended cable, and it's the newest wii white version. And it's legitimately Nintendo. Don't waste your money with 3rd party gc controllers, their analog sticks (some times even the buttons) are horrible and get loose quickly. This one has a very sturdy analog stick and a nice price.
Too bad Nintendo doesn't make this in black color, to match my black wii :(.

...I know I haven't held any better for any gaming platform.
This pad will work on PAL Wii/Game cubes as well as Japanese ones and though it's a no brainer for Game cube games, I also recommend using it for some virtual console games (particularly some n64 titles) on the Wii.

Unlike the xbox and sony controllers, the Cube controller fits into your hands so naturally it's almost like an extension. I think this is the best classic-style controller ever made for /modern/ 3D games.
A word of warning though, it is a very poor choice for /retro/ gaming. The button layout can make some VC games extremely awkward to play if they don't support button remapping, as are the analog shoulder buttons. But above all else, the D-Pad is far too small and can be a serious chore to use in large hands.

The original i already had still works like new with more than 100hours of gameplay... and this one seems that will endure even more! the only thing... is that i really wanted a black one to match my console... but, anyway, I'm more than pleased with this one!

I've tried some other and cheaper "brands" for a GC controller on my Wii, but nothing came even close to this. The analog stick posseses a great sensibility, works great for any gameplay, from piloting a X-Wing to fighting a Brawl on Smash Bros.

Official controllers are the best. I like this more than the wavebird since it has rumble, and thanks to the longer cord it means the lack of wireless is not much of an issue any more.

The original controller can't even begin to compare with this one! The 3m cord offers alot more freedom. The white goes fantastic with the Nintendo Wii. It is also quite a bit heavier than the original model which is also nice in my opinion. Most likely buying another one!

Top quality with precise and responsive controls. Since it's the original GameCube controller just white in colour, what can you expect? The 3m cable makes this controller a highly recommended buy since you don't have to purchase additional extension cords unless your couch is super far away from the TV/GCN/Wii. Great product, I'm very satisfied with it!

It's very pretty, seems to work fine, and allows me to have a crack at some of those Gamecube games I missed that haven't headed to the Wii. Not much else to say - it's an official Gamecube controller.

Great controller, hard to find these days!
The original Gamecube controller. It has pretty much the perfect button layout and just fits your hands like a glove. Also, Play-Asia is pretty much the only place where you can find them these days, and for a reasonable price as well. Thumbs up!

The white controller matchs perfectly with Wii and it is very comfortable to play. The built-in rumble is quite fun when you playing games as Wind Waker or Resident Evil. A must-have!!

The shape is great! There is no pain when I am playing with this controller; the buttons are large and easy to push. It is white, clean and very beautiful. It works perfectly with my NTSC UC Wii system. I love it!

Definitely buy while you still can
This is the only official Nintendo Gamecube controller still in production, and who knows how long that will last. If you still want to be able to play GCN games with non-busted controllers 5-10 years from now, I'd recommend stocking up on at least one of these.

As far as gamecube controllers goes, this is the best controller to get if you don't mind the extra LONG cord. I had this controller for 2 months and still works fine when I play it. I highly recommend this controller. :)

This is a super deal. It was made specially for WII by Nintendo. Great build quality. Not like cheap ones third party controllers. Works great with WII.

Great Controller
I had been using gamecube controllers that I had since the Gamecube launched. This was a great replacement for those and I can tell how much tighter the controls are. This is especially helpful for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The longer cord is also a plus.

Amazing Controller
I bought this controller just so I could play Super Smash Bros. Melee and this controller is exactly like the regular gamecube controller except everything just feels better. You dont have to press the Z button as hard and all of the buttons feel more crisp and so much better than the regular and the longer cord is not that bad either :D. If you are looking for a new controller this is the one you should buy!

Its build quality is amazing (again) and its white color suits perfectly with Wii. Ofcourse controller cable is long enough to let you enjoy your games freely with Wii placed next to TV where usually todays consoles are located ;)

This is without question a perfect product for what it is supposed to be. It is a Nintendo first party controller with the build quality you'd expect from them and has the bonuses of the extended cord length and a very nice look in white that goes perfectly with the Nintendo Wii.

The controller I received is just as good as any other licensed gamecube controller I have ever owned. The extra long cord really is pretty long, weighing it down just a little bit more than the regular length cords, but that can be expected. Plays technically challenging games well. I use it so much it is hard to keep clean. Great replacement for worn out equipment.

Sheer Brilliance.
The controller with the best conventional design of all time is now perfected with the realised 3m cable. Playing the likes of SSBB and Mario Kart Wii from the couch is no longer a hassle, and the soft White encasing (non-glossy, so no fingerprints!) perfectly blends in with the Wii.
Storage is also convenient, with the 3m cable wrapping nicely around the Controller casing, leaving no extra sections of cord dangling. Cannot wait for the Black ones to start rolling in!

It's a no brain-er! Get this controller now. The long cord is great, and it's official gamecube so you know it works. Don't go with any of those third party white controllers that are cheaper - you'll get what you pay for (I know from experience).

Worth getting for your classic GC games
My first time ordering from Play Asia and I'm proud to say that this official controller from Nintendo Japan delivers.
Prior to this I was using a 3rd party Cube controller but the problem was the games randomly pause for no reason. Now with this official controller it's gone.

Build quality is excellent, buttons are nice and responsive, and the extra length of the cord comes in pretty handy when plugged into the wii.

It's Feels and Works Just As Any Gamecube Remote Should...
...I've been waiting for 2 weeks for this remote and it finnally came in. Right away I plugged it in and started to play, and right away I was impressed by the quality and distance away I could play. Never agian will I have to stand upclose to the television to keep from pulling my Wii off the table and never agian will I be exposed to harmful rays coming from the television (lol). Great remote, I highly recommend them for Smash Bros fans.

The best thing about this sleek iPod-white GameCube controller is the longer cord than what I'm used to. I sit a good eight feet or so from my console, and I'm able to sit there comfortably with a good deal of slack. Just got the White Game Cube controller today. Packaged nicely. Everything perfect. Controller feels and functions exactly how you'd want and expect it to. The longer white cord is a perfect length now. Not stretching the limits or hanging in the air like the older controls would.
