Sigma wakes up in the middle of an elevator with a mysterious girl. He has no idea how he ended up there, he only knew that if he doesn't escape before the time's up, he'd become a puddle of blood and bones. And this is only the first test. Feel the suspense, the danger and the urgency in Zero Escape.
Do some detective work, find clues about your surroundings and talk to the people you meet on the way. There are 9 characters in total. Each of them has their own agenda, some will offer assistance only to betray you in your hour of need. Find out about them during the adventure part, and fiddle with the locks and solve other puzzles during the mini-game part.
The gamer can configure the difficulty levels, so after escaping from the Easy Mode, come back for the Hard Mode.

Intense and engaging
The game is engaging and intense, and keeps you guessing all the time. The puzzles are also sufficiently difficult to keep you at it for hours, and yet the plot keeps you going nevertheless.

Great but some problems
First off, great game. Enjoyable story and interesting characters. I had a lot of fun deciding who I could trust and who I couldn't depending on what has happened to them so far. I also really like the New Game + implementation. There are however a few small problems. There are occasional spelling errors, sometimes characters do ridiculous things for the sake of continuing the story and finally I found the end to be mind-numbingly dull as well as incomprehensible. Trying to follow that flow chart and work out who I was and where and at what time was overly complicated.
But still I would definately recommend this game and I can't wait to play part 3.

A brilliant build on the original's ambitions
It takes a while for all of the plot threads to converge and make sense, but when they do the revelations are so out there it makes it all worth it.
